Originally this video was 53 minutes and when I uploaded it... it flagged me for right around 50 songs. I re-edited and then it became 36 minutes. Re-upload. Flagged. Re-edit. 29 minutes. Flagged. Re-edit and now we're at 26 minutes still getting flagged. Sorry for the delay I was just hoping to avoid copyright. Thanks if you're still watching! 🫶
🎰The mistake at 23:46 worked out ok as a dramatic pause. We are definitely our own worst critics, but I think you did a great job matching the energy of the crowd later in the night! 🎰
"hey it's mommy's night out I need something more rachet then this" 🤣 that look you give her 🤣🤣🤣. Who I forget to press play it's always the equipment fault lmao. Good Set tho I enjoyed it!! We always learn and get better the next time. So much music to play sometimes we forget to play some songs or we have idea and then forgot because we are in a different lane. Overall you rocked it!
epic gig log bro!!! keep goin... i like playing in the 90-100bpm range. i find to be more creative there. 120-130bpm are the ones to tear the roof off!!! (idk) please let the fans know the next time you on the decks man!!! would love to come check you out!!!! ( and you ain;t human if you don't mess up salute to have the balls to put that in there)
🎰 You did a lot of great energy songs and sing-alongs. Finding the intros that fit the acapella outs such as enhancing and don't take away from the previous song like its a minor thing but in the mind feels like something doesn't sound right. You did great an very professional and you had enthusiasm.
Man I really appreciate this one. Its crazy to see how when as a DJ you notice your mess-up but nobody really notices. That look you gave the camera when you missed that one transition was priceless. I think you did great considering the different types of crowds. This was no doubt a great vlog though. Best series on TH-cam!
Don’t be so hard on yourself. You actually did an amazing job from what I seen. You said you’re not as good of an open format DJ as you thought you were. I beg to differ, because me watching your set made me say that I might not be as good as an open format DJ as I thought I was 😂😂. I not only need to download some more songs, but need to reorganize my crates a little bit. Once again, great series 💯💯
Listen man, hell of a job. As everyone else in the comments are saying, them mistakes will happen but you recover like a pro. To be honest, anybody that doesn't dj for the most part never hear our mess ups like we do lol. Keep going man, you give me motivation and I'm nowhere near your level!🤝🏾💯
I enjoyed watching this. Your set was 🔥 you played what was right for the setting & regardless of the small mistakes there was always a bounce back. I used to DJ in the 90s with Technics 1200 & Numark mixers & although the modern equipment is different & advanced now, It still takes me back to the mixing days. Respect.
I thought is was great! Yes, we all make mistakes , but it's the, moving on, part that separates us from our piers. You handled it beautifully, and honestly. We as DJ's, go back, learn and prepare, learn more, prepare more. You are smooth!
More 90s and 80s rock right after the last band set may have been good. But I wasn't there, so who knows. Your transitions are magnificent as well as song selections. You've got it. Slayed it.
I love how not one of the bands bothered to learn your name to announce it. "Give it up for......the DJ". Like "HEY EVERYONE, Comming up next we have.....A BAND!"
Yo! You did really good! I love the way the band gave you the hype intros after their set. As always, we'll always be harder on ourselves than the people listening to the music. I've heard you say before, if you get them up dancing, you're doing your job. You damn sure did your thing! That's a win bro.
I appreciate you! I don’t want to just do the job though. Getting people to dance is a DJ bare minimum. Striving to be better than the bare minimum is hopefully what will set me apart.
Great job with the song selection!!! When you hit em with Dazz Band in your 1st set, I knew you were headed for a special night. Just a word of advice, for old heads, try to play 1st verse, 1st chorus, 2nd verse, and then transition on that second chorus. We like hearing the song. Great job bro!!
Great set, bro! Dancing queen, staying alive also, one saweetie song, sexxy red or wap fom moms night out lol . A couple more Kelly Clarkson songs, but honestly super good set, you kept'em dancing and drinking all night 💪 I would've rocked with you.
DAMN!!! Good stuff!!!! I look forward to your videos every week, Santi. You're music selections were on point! FANTASTIC transitions! I'm stealing some! ;)
Since you had to cut a lot of the video, it’s hard to say what I would have added. I’ll admit you did play it safe, but honestly I would have too. Sometimes finding that pocket of known bangers is an easy hole to slide into, but you still crushed the event, & that’s what matters! Especially with the starting & stopping constantly going on
Good gig and dope set looks fun as heck .. looks like beginning had 40-60 years old - I would have tested some disco to freestyle .. but overall you went thru different world of music and hopefully made someone night … you def got an old soul lol
Bro, that was sick, a lot of echoe outs, but you had to cut a lot out. Keep showing the world how to be humble, cause that's what matters. Thanks for the series. These brighten me up after a dead set or a slow night after djing at my local pub. Keep it up brotha!
This vlog was crazy!!! It was amazing to see you win the crowd and especially the group of women in front of you! Your song selection was on point and even though you messed up on a few transition, imo it created anticipation for the crowd and BOOM you hit them with another banger! You killed it!
You did awesome! I liked that you show case the transitions which is what most of us dj’s are looking for. One thing I did notice is that on some transitions the energy would go from high to low. By stemming out a high energy beat in to a not so high energy. I don’t think is about genre but about energy and riding through it. I’m no expert I do the same but dude you did amazing! Cheers!!!
Also to the old dude that walked in the bathroom at 0:30 was in the stall listening to you say "I'm definitely going to be in my snow bunny bag" probably confused as hell 🤣
The looks of approval from those ladies at the end after every banger 👀 You just know they had a great time! Guy in the white polo shirt during LEAN BACK was the funniest ever 🤣 My 2 cents, you provided the audience a great evening! And just like most of us you are also very hard on your "mistakes". It's part of the game. You kept going and aced it.
Love your video it give me an insight into club & dj life over the pond (as I’m a dj in the UK). Don’t be so hard on yourself. As 20-30 good mixes way out the 1-2 bad mixes. I think you should do some video on your process of preparing your tracks & techniques. Let us go on the journey with the learn process with you as well as just the gigs. There is nothing on TH-cam about open format stuff & the process that goes into it. It all about house, hip hop, techno ext.
Love the work! Only song I could think of was Shaboozey “The Bar Song”. With the crowd going to see Kelly clarkson they probably would have liked some country worked in there.
Loved your set and track choices. Quality mixing too. My kind of vibe. I'd listen to whole set quite happily if you feel like making a mixtape with this!
with open format I feel like you did pretty well, its all about timing and knowing different genres of music forreal forreal, with that crowd beginning with 80-90s top hits and than boom early 2000s hits for the rest of the time. looking up what were the top hit songs from each era really helps especially with a mixed crowd those are the songs that every one no matter race, gender, etc knows.
Nice video , I usually don’t press the start button like that , what I usually do is I que the next song and beat jump 4 bars behind that way I know the next track is coming, and if it’s off and can still recover. But very good work … nice vlog
the mixes were on fire SANTI 🔥🔥🔥 Loved the creativity and the way you were using the stems!! you should put together a small course on how to mix in a creative way using the stems and put it for sale! I would buy it in a heartbeat
I would say a good job, it’s not about messing up we all do it’s about the recovery. 2 songs that’s work everywhere and are two good sing alongs Love-Keysha Cole and Shawty Snap (Buy I a Drink)- T-Pain
That Sir Mix-a-Lot transition was 🔥🔥🔥. I will say I do appreciate even showing the minor errors during transitions but still bounced back and kept it going. The crowd still loved it and the vibe stayed lit. I always like your style as well between transitions. You honestly did great in my opinion 💯
Yep on song. The playlist was on point and you played to the crowd in front of you. When you say you "stuffed up" did you notice anyone on the dance floor reacting? Nope, they did not notice. Not every mix will be perfect, to be honest if it was it would get boring. You have the skill to brush it a side and get on with it. Well Done!
U smashed it bro. Look at the energy in the room, you are way too hard on yourself brother. I know u wonna grow but seriously, u crushed it. only things i was expecting to hear that i didnt was some Pitbull vibez. Usher OMG, Diaz Brothers Drop, Flo Rida Low.
🎰Dude, you absolutely crushed it. Kept that huge crowd there through the end of your set and had people of all different ages dancing. 10/10, no notes. I am curious; did you have any knowledge of the bands’ setlists ahead of time? And if not, how did you go about making sure you didn’t play any of their songs or step on any toes? Thanks as always for the amazing content!
Bro…real talk…you kilt that!! Yeah you had some minor slip ups, but overall… that was 🔥🔥🔥. Open format mixing is no where near as easy as you made it look. You had those people bumpin’! And that didn’t look like a bumpin’ type of crowd (no offense to them…lol). Don’t be so hard on yourself, you did a great job. Nick better watch out! LOL! I’m really curious to see the list and order of songs you played. Respect.
Awesome!! I was gonna say any new music clips you’re working on or have already put out (Cashin Out remix) you should put those as your outro song, which could help promote them some more!! Loved the sets

While being flagged, it would be nice to have the 53 min version
@@dg-litomakes me wonder if I should start dropping a longer directors cut somewhere 🤔
Definitely do that. Would appreciate that
Patreon drop when?
So tough uploading DJ content without getting flagged. Kudos!
Dude the way you recover from your mistakes is amazing. Everyone makes mistakes but you recover like a true professional! Respect!
🎰The mistake at 23:46 worked out ok as a dramatic pause. We are definitely our own worst critics, but I think you did a great job matching the energy of the crowd later in the night! 🎰
You are completely right, 70s, 80s and 90s are awesome plays. Love those era's
Bruh.... You SLAAAAAAAYYYYYY! Great job IMO... Creative, smiles for everyone, awesome energy... Job well done my guy!
🎰 only those who do nothing, make no mistakes and mistkes is what makes us (hopefuly) learn. Crowd was dancing, so job well done.💪
This is my absolute favorite channel and it gets me pumped before each set I have to spin.
epic gig log bro!!! keep goin... i like playing in the 90-100bpm range. i find to be more creative there. 120-130bpm are the ones to tear the roof off!!! My Guy You Made Me Realize That Mistakes Can Happen & You Just Push Right Through Them. This Was One Of The Best Vlog Yet!! Big Ups My Dude!!😎😎
Haha! love it that you thru in some Caribbean Queen! BANGER!
Just awesome 😎 every time I mess up I think I just suck. But watching you going through the same as me., it just gives me hope🙏👍
Respect.
Love it! Once Kelly was done, it was game on. You can't beat feeding off a great crowd.
I thought is was great! Yes, we all make mistakes , but it's the, moving on, part that separates us from our piers. You handled it beautifully, and honestly. We as DJ's, go back, learn and prepare, learn more, prepare more. You are smooth!
You are awesome and I think you are over the top critical on yourself! You inspired me!!
You played the room appropriately. You made some swerves. Great job 👏🏾
👏 👏 Fantastic SANTI
Well done and your recovery time for the few mess ups was done quickly.
-MIKE BEATS
YOU DID WELL BRO. IT ONLY GETS BETTER FROM HERE. GREAT JOB!!
You did a great job. And I totally share that same challenge: bridging genres to keep cohesion of the songs and of the vibe.
Great Video - I like that you don't edit your flaws- we have all been there! Great stuff as always!
Gd job👏👏👏 the music 🎶 selections was on point
Smooth transitions. Hate when we get no reaction 😂 That 70s soft rock and soul is where it’s at. And so many hip hop tracks come from that
Santi !! Man you sounded great !!! Great Mix of Music and decades !!!! GREAT SETS !!!
Very cool. Cheers from Hong Kong. You did great
Holy fuck that’s nuts
Santi, that was some sick mixing!!! Good job bro 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Jackpot 🎰 it just gets better.
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 thank you! It means a lot
More 90s and 80s rock right after the last band set may have been good. But I wasn't there, so who knows. Your transitions are magnificent as well as song selections. You've got it. Slayed it.
Dope video loved you showing the whole process. You got a new Sub.
I love how not one of the bands bothered to learn your name to announce it. "Give it up for......the DJ". Like "HEY EVERYONE, Comming up next we have.....A BAND!"

Santi. That was dope to see. You killed that bro. You covered a lot of ground. Strong work bro. Thank you for sharing!
I watch your videos bro and I feel like I’m in the same boat as you but I’m def learning a lot from your videos bro keep up the good work for sure
You killed it bro! Been watching your content since day one. 🙌🏻
🎰Broo you killed it man! Was just waiting for you to drop YMCA though...
The best part was the groans when you finished your second last set. The ladies were loving you.
I mean I think you‘re playing yourself down. Nobody’s perfect. I found the mix great, nice to see you having fun 🤩
We all make those mistakes sometimes! keep going, you're doing a great job! your videos inspire me to do better as well KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AMIGO!
Unreal dude! keep it up. Recovered from every mistake, I am pretty sure no even noticed!
Fantastic work.

I always watch these right before my gigs and discover more music and transitions to fit in my bag. Appreciate the content!
Since you had to cut a lot of the video, it’s hard to say what I would have added.

You did an awesome job brother. So cool to see these and that venue is no joke. Inspiring.
You had those ladies (and the rest of the crowd) in the palm of your hands
Good gig and dope set looks fun as heck .. looks like beginning had 40-60 years old - I would have tested some disco to freestyle .. but overall you went thru different world of music and hopefully made someone night … you def got an old soul lol
If you've got women over 40, freestyle works great.
Bro, that was sick, a lot of echoe outs, but you had to cut a lot out. Keep showing the world how to be humble, cause that's what matters. Thanks for the series. These brighten me up after a dead set or a slow night after djing at my local pub. Keep it up brotha!
That vocal echo out thing on Serato stems is my favorite, and probably most people's.
This vlog was crazy!!!
It was amazing to see you win the crowd and especially the group of women in front of you!
Your song selection was on point and even though you messed up on a few transition, imo it created anticipation for the crowd and BOOM you hit them with another banger! You killed it!
🎰. Santi , great vibe , appreciate the mood created and enjoying the music

Glad to see you're still going strong. Was starting to worry when I didn't see your upload. Good set dawg
I was waiting to hear Nicks go to YMCA lolll… good job
Man! you killed it selector! Keep doing the do and rocking the house!
This was so much fun to watch! 🎰🎰
Bro you killed it! Great work
"Momentum killer", sorry brother, love the episode
Wait the crowd is rocking now!!!

For the week i was there in 2022, the bands were good but everything ended too early. Glad to see they added a DJ
Dope vid! Nothing wrong with messing up from time to time when you're up there putting in work! Keep it up brotha!
18:25 you dropped “Jump Around” at the perfect time!
Great Job Mixing You Killed It Bro. dj 1740
You played the room well bro! Great work with the gig and the video 👏🎰

Pepas live is a vibe I never knew existed!!!
You killed it badass bro
Good stuff.
Bro…real talk…you kilt that!!

I’m really curious to see the list and order of songs you played.
Respect.
Keep doing ya thing and mistakes happen but you played them off smooth and improvised with transitions . 👌 🔥🔥🫡💯
Such a good series!!
You rocked it our brother
i aint gont cap @08:17 was Smooth as butter. Same key too I think maybe 1A 2A
Great gig! Keep up the good work
Yerrrr just found your YT lol just subbed! Tapped in my bro
Awesome!! I was gonna say any new music clips you’re working on or have already put out (Cashin Out remix) you should put those as your outro song, which could help promote them some more!! Loved the sets

🎰You did your thing fam! An d looks like you have a new admirer.
