WTOP-TV Pick Temple's Giant Ranch 1955

Here's a few segments from a western themed children's show in Washington DC hosted by cowboy singer Pick Temple and sponsored by local supermarket Giant Food. The show is based at the Giant Ranch where Pick sings, tells stories, and the children participate in games and pony rides. Each show began by singing the Heidi bread song, then the games and cartoons would be begin. Pick's show started on channel 9, later it would move to channel 5, then to channel 7 before going off the air in the early 60s.
