      @@sushanpandey5291 well I'd say:
      Listen to French as much as possible
      Learn the most used verbs and words of the French language ( you can find lists online)
      Read easy texts, they will give you a feeling of sentence structure.
      Speak as much as possible, don't be afraid of making mistakes. Get an online teacher ( italki) .

    This video helped me so much!
    I'm finishing my studies here in Brazil and simultaneously studying English and French because I'll apply to some Canadian universities next year. For that, I gotta take DELF and TOEFL, but French is currently my priority because les québecois de Montréal parlent français.
    Anyway, just have to thank you very much for this amazing video :)

    Hello, I hope you can see this and reply because it would literally save MY life...I know you mentioned it in the video but I didn't really understand and was a bit lost..
    I want to study in France next year and I know I have to start with all the paperwork, etc since this year, but I was wondering, did you take the delf exam until you got accepted into a university? did you take the exam a year before actually going? do you have to prove you have it when signing up for the university you want to go to?:( I am so lost, I'm so sorry..

    • @laviedamelia
      @laviedamelia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey no worries!! So I took the exam in March, and had planned to study in France in September of that same year. But as far as I can remember (this was two years ago now) I applied to the french unis in around March anyway, and they just wanted me to say provisionally that I was planning to take the delf B2 exam and mention when I would get the results (which was pretty soon after I took the exam anyway). Then when I passed, they sent me the certificate in the post but the university never asked me to prove that I had passed anyway! So it’s okay to apply to the unis before you pass the exam I would say, as there is an option to say when you’ll be getting the results anyway, and that wasn’t an issue for me. It might depend how you are applying for the universities, but I applied with Parcoursup, so it might be different depending on who you apply with! I think as long as yoj will have passed it by the time you begin uni, it shouldn’t be an issue, but maybe double check with the specific unis in case! In any case, good luck with everything and I hope toi will enjoy studying in France! Let me know if you have any more questions 🤗

    Hey Amelia! Thanks for your video!
    I just have one question. Whats the difference between the delf B2 junior and the delf B2 "tout public"
    I just need to know if the unuversities accept both because i can do the junior(im 17) but i am worried that the universities wont accept it.
    Im Lebanese btw.
    Thanks a lot!

    • @laviedamelia
      @laviedamelia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thanks for your comment! After having a look on the CIEP DELF website, it seems to me that the Delf B2 Junior is for non-Francophone students who are enrolled at a French/Francophone school and take the exam as part of their education and learning of the French language whilst at school. Whereas the DELF B2 tout public is for anyone that isn't a French native, whether enrolled in education or not. I took the tout public option as I wasn't enrolled in a French school. It seems as they are both the same level 'B2', they will each be of equal difficulty, so I think the only difference is where they are taken and how you apply for them. I would assume that universities wouldn't mind whether you have taken tout public or junior, as long as the level is B2, as it is your competency that they are more concerned about. However, I do not know this information for sure, and you can always get in touch with the university or talk to someone from the DELF organisation to make sure! Hope this helps, and best of luck :)

      Hey! I think it would be a good idea to prepare some useful phrases beforehand for the writing and speaking sections, so you don't have to think of too many things to say spontaneously in the exam, and for the listening and reading sections, the best thing to do is to think about the answers LOGICALLY. If you don't know an answer straight away, don't be afraid to take an educated guess, because as I have mentioned in the video, you may be awarded marks even if your answer is not 100% correct! So don't be too worried, you've got this! Wishing you the best of luck!

    • @laviedamelia
      @laviedamelia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As it is over a year ago that I took the exam, I no longer have held onto my personal resources and preparation. I generated my useful phrases with the help of the preparation I had already done. Like I mentioned in the video, you can look at examples of past papers on the DELF website, as well as looking at online courses, e.g ‘Coursera’ is a great resource, and is free to use, and in this way, I used these resources as a template to generate my own pre-prepared phrases to use in the exam, which you can definitely do as well! Obviously as you do not have much time before the exam, I can only advise you to do as much as you can in the time you have, so you could always create some useful phrases that are quite simple, for example, opinion phrases or phrases including the subjunctive and you should be fine! Best of luck!
