To the negative comments about this video - Alexander Technique is not a cult nor does it represent cultist techniques. It is a method for healing and learning how to use the body in a healthful manner. It is especially useful for musicians and dancers who are dealing with injury, but can certainly apply to anyone.

How do you create that impressive crossing out of words effect where a reader can still read the underlying msg and thereby understand that you have some heavy weight behind your words and that you are undoubtedly a person to be reckoned with and someone who I should pay to teach me how to raise funds? Oh wait, I get it, that was actually your first lesson in creative fundraising! Nice job.

Every Alexander teacher teaches in their own voice. There is something to be said for calming the person down, though. When I teach I sound like me; NYC accent and all! I agree with you that it's easier to hear someone when they speak in a more 'normal' voice.

No. There are lots of models. I'm referring to the one used in this video. It is flexible as you can see when she demonstrates. There are plenty of life size models out there and one about three feet tall but this one is not available. You can't patent the spine but you can patent a particular model . She is using the one Alexander teachers like to carry with them for teaching and talks
