I love how the whole family got together to cook, plant vegetables, drink soju/beer, and play with the local animals out in the country! The countryside looks so green and peaceful. I like how many cultures share similar things when visiting grandparents; gardening, the floral print table cloth/clothing, family cramming into grandparents home, everyone eating together ❤. But I didn't see any lace curtains (maybe that's only a thing for grandparents in Canada).
Now it is no secret for the whole planet that we are all one. And that's what I experienced today while watching your video. First, thank you guys for your work in multiplying the joy of life on the planet. And secondly, today I looked at the slender figure of Sarah, and I understood that, being quite slender at my almost 52 years old, I catch from Sarah the vibrations of a very thin and light body, which I want to join, catching their vibrational essence! Thank you very much!!!

I loved this week’s video. I am dealing with a bit of anxiety over a few things, nothing severe, but this video hit all the relaxing points I needed. Beautiful nature in Seoul, a bit of humor during the badminton and with Kyuho and the bug, chill with Beemo and solo time for you, road trip out to the countryside, more beautiful nature and family time and lots of amazing food and cute kids. For a bit I was able to relax and just chill also. I’m so glad Kyuho was finally able to see his grandfather again and that things were able to feel normal for a bit.

Enjoyed watching Kyuho help planting greens and vegetables at his grandpa’s 💚 my parents used to have a garden at the edge of town in Germany (I guess those are called allotments?) lots of work but having fresh produce was so nice!!

Great vlog. I visited the countryside once in the early nineties when I was nine years old and I went to visit my great grandmother in the Damyang province. I remember it vividly because i now recognize that it was a village that had essentially been frozen in time.

I bet the pandemic was really hard for Grandpa and all the elderly. They really couldn’t be around family for a long time. It had to be really lonely. 😭 My grandfather was a farmer, too, and we had so much fun there as kids. We got to gather eggs, play with the chickens, drink milk straight from the cow (which I didn’t like), ride the horses, and run around the farm like crazy hooligans. I’m sure you loved your excursions in the country as a kid, too, Kyuho. They are fond memories for me. Listening to the old folks tell their stories is priceless. ❤️ I miss my grandfather a lot. I’m glad you finally got to go see your grandpa.
Luckily grandpa had someone come to visit him every week-the family members had a rotation schedule. But there was a long while there where the number of private gatherings were capped at 4 people, then 8. Finally those restrictions have been lifted.

Nice trip to the countryside, my grandparent used to live in the countryside and I used to go every other Sunday and it was so fun to me to play planting vegetables with grandpa.

I think Grandpa and I would be friends. He is the man! I have terrible internet and no cell service. I transfer my videos to my phone and then drive to the closest place with cell service and upload over mobile data. Still takes like 20 minutes to upload. It's a nice place though, the Englishtown Ferry on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. Couldn't ask for a better view (could definitely ask for better internet). Loved this one guys! I need one of those hats.

I like the country side. It's peaceful and yet a very difficult lifestyle (hard work everyday under the sun). The city was my favourite place for a long time. But I'm changing. But still I want to give it one more try & experience Seoul, the modern metropolis. It's good that you get to experience both places.
We love living in the city, but somewhere close to a park or a mountain to escape into nature when we need it 🌿 It’s nice to visit the countryside sometimes though, for sure ☺️
Haven't played badminton in a few decades, seeing you guys having so much fun makes me want to play again 😂

@@2hearts1seoul yesterday I paid $4.75 per gallon. My math skills aren't good enough to figure out how much that is in Won per litre (I'm guessing in Korea it is dispensed by the litre, correct?)
@@cherylschaeffer7832 I'm in NZ and we're paying the equivalent of $7 - $8 USD per gallon, it's now costing me $100USD to fill my car with 95 😣it's 3.785 litres to a gallon so you're paying around $1.25USD per litre or 1,600KRW per litre. If we had a transport system that was good and cheap like South Korea I'd do that but our public transport is horrendous.

Does someone help Kyuho's grandfather with the farming and help take care of him?
Yes :) There’s a government worker who comes to prepare food and clean a few days a week for a few hours at a time. Kyuho’s dad and his siblings do a small amount of farming, as they don’t do full-scale farming anymore.
The mirror at the badminton court reminds me of the mirrors at Seoul subway stations haha it seems unique to Korea :0 The only mirrors you'll see in a subway station or a park in my country will be in the public bathroom.

Awwww Kyuho, your Grandpa is so cute. But does he live all by himself? I mean who takes care of him. The shopping, cleaning, cooking, etc. He look so sad when you were leaving. Too bad he lives so far from everyone, it must be hard for your parents and especially for you and Sarah to visit.
He does live by himself, but it’s because he doesn’t want to move somewhere closer to his other relatives-he wants to stay in his home. He’s quite stubborn (as many elderly people are 😅), and would be more stressed out to be uprooted and move to a city at this point in his life. So each week, different family members come to stay with him for a day or two ☺️
@@2hearts1seoul oh that's good to hear that he has kind, loving support from family members. I know too well of elderly stubbornness. and pride. My dad just turned 96 in April. He still climbs ladders and goes into the backyard to trim the bushes. I told him just to have the Gardners do it. He tells me he needs the exercise.
It keeps him young and youthful. But it's the claiming up the ladders that worry me. 😧
