“This fish ain’t hungry”😂 He had a beer belly. Looked like he’d had a few too many Stellas. That’s a great spot for those bass. You seem to catch some nice ones each time you visit it.
I don't follow that game any more, unfortunately. Also i fish from the boat lately and use 7 foot rods. From the bank usually you want something a little longer but i haven't looked at a carp website in years.
Big ups victor ….you started me fishing!….could I ask what in your opinion is the best size keitech for mainly crappie and small ..bass…. …would greater than 2 inches be too big for crappies….fishing from bank in shallow lake …it is large but average depth is just 8 feet…many thanks.
3" is too much for crappie, but nothing for bass. Even when they are the same size, lets say 12 inches, and have the same mouth, bass will attack 3" like nothing, because it is used to eating fish. Crappie are simply used to eating smaller stuff... its not that they cannot fit it, but thats not what they do. I have and use both... if u want to have a shot at a nicer bass, then 2" is a little small
i bought 6 rods this year, if u watch all reviews, and want to buy two more.. I have to sell some and this one was a solid tip with extra fast action ... which is not my thing
@@rokojaz921 have some faith in your own opinion. If it is amazing and budget, you should go for it. I am one man team, and there is 100 000 rods out there.. i can't keep up with all models, and tatula is not really an ultralight series of products. It is probably a crappie rod for bass anglers, as they like different things from me
One of these days I'll need to buy a rod from you Vic and only use it on special trips other than that it will stay on display for bragging rights lol the rod from the one and only i_fish🎣🙌🏾
u can see it at the end of the video, but i do not recommend it. I like the tungsten head, but the hook is junk. Extremely soft, u can bend with your fingers, and the tip is not durable if u hook something hard. I will make, next year, a jig head just for 2" keitechs, that will be different shape and different hook from the BG-1 and will fit perfectly my keitechs
@@saleen12 there are bass jigs that are really small and have japanese hooks. Bass tackle has everything. Get some of those with small hooks. I myself don't follow bass tackle and can't tell u exact models, but when i browsed tackle warehouse for thanksgiving i saw a million bass jigs and many of them used japanese hooks and are of great quality

@@bootyluvas its already in Georgia. The new owner sent me a grateful email, says he loves it. If i keep it i will use it once a year for bass... thats a waste
Vic: As one of your newest followers I could use your help. My family will be going to Kosovo to visit family. I will be heading to visit a friend near Knoxville (Maryville) and my brother near Nashville (Fairview). I am brining my new fishing set-ups. Where in those two areas would you recommend doing some fishing? I have never caught a crappie nor good size Bluegill or bass in my life. Looking forward to heading to Tennessee from Wash DC. I assume I should be using 4- 6-pound fishing line with my new Daiwa Regal Lt 2000? I so enjoy all your content making me a much better fisherman (THANKS)!! Semper Fi Vic Puentes
Around Nashville your best fisheries are Old Hickory and Percy Priest. Both are great fisheries with plenty of videos online, if you want to check them, but if you are fishing from the bank this time of year you will catch neither crappie, nor good size bluegill. its hot and these fish are deep. Your best shot is to use small bass lures and target juvenile bass early in the morning. Those are always ready to play
What a nice gesture to throw in the souvenir jig. Cheers. ✌️
July and August is Spotted bass fest there. That is an amazing spot….still producing those quality fish since about 2015. Nothing like it.
Hi Randy. Ye, in the summer i don't know what else to do here..

that wasn't beer... i really don't know what it is, that is so abundant around here...
Great videos ...
Any suggestion for a decent carp rod?
Thank you for your time Sir

Can you do a review of the daiwa tatula XT 0.5 - 3.5g rod, i thinks its an amazing budget rod with a very thin tip and a strong back bone.
why do you need a review? Seems like you already know what you need to know
