I just had a myomectomy in June and it was for the best. I feel so much better. Stress impacted my fibroids and I became symptomatic and borderline anemic. If you can afterward walk walk walk. I was walking around about 10 minutes the day after surgery and I did the 15 minutes 3x a day after I got home. It took me 3 weeks to start to feel like myself again but I feel so much better now. It will be worth the relief and as someone who had 2 miscarriages because of them it will save you heartache too. Praying for you!

I really wish l had had my fibroids removed before TTC but was afraid of being operated on.l got pregnant in March and had a miscarriage this week due to embryo attaching inbetween the fibroids and not getting enaf space to grow..would advise to have them removed before conceiving as it would save one a lot of pain and heartache

Infertility journey always feels like "okay, just one more thing.." Freaking exhausting.
Glad you got in so quick! September is only next month and sometime scheduking surgery can be months out.

Oh my what adventures we have to endure! I start my shots on Monday and we shall see how that goes. I pray that all goes well with your surgery and that there shall be no more fibroids in your journey.

that's so wild! I went from having on 1cm fibroid to having a 7cm fibroid and that 1cm one growing to 3cm within a year and a half. Good on you for advocating for yourself!

Similar thing happened to me. Started bc pills (hormones) and 2 months later on the floor in debilitating pain. 2 doc appts and 1 CT scan later and find out I have a 10cm fibroid. Doc says the two aren’t related but the timing was...suspicious.

First, I’m so proud of you for advocating for yourself when the fertility MD was trying to downplay your fibroids. It’s so important to speak up for yourself regarding your health. Second, I’m definitely praying the liver lesions turn out to be something benign. I know that is definitely scary news to hear. I have a fibroid story but not quite the same. I had an ultrasound done to count eggs as part of my fertility work up and the nurse mentioned I had a fibroid. She didn’t mention much beyond that. I had my HSG done (a few months later due to covid) and a few days after I was in excruciating pain. I couldn’t walk or sit. I had started bleeding as if I was having a period even though I had one 10 days prior. I had a video appointment with my fertility MD and she pretty much said she didn’t know why I was having pain. I asked about the fibroid the nurse mentioned and she said it shouldn’t be an issue but we could do an SHG and look into it further. It was super painful but she discovered I had one huge fibroid pushing into my vagina and one sitting on top of one of my ovaries. So now I’m awaiting surgery next month also. Sorry for the super long post. But praying we both have successful surgeries and easy recoveries. I will be looking forward to your next video.

Oh wow! Yeah, I don't know why these Doctors down play fibroids. I guess because for most women they are no big deal, but these things suck when you become symptomatic! I pray that you have a smooth and easy surgery! I'm not nervous yet, but I'm sure I'll start feeling some type of way as I get closer. How far are you along in your fertility journey? Are you doing IUIs, IVF?

Now I am in this way. I am diagnosed that i have fibroid before one month, size 14cm but i dont have any pain except my lower belly is heavier, I am still waiting my OB appointment and my physician said its not danger thing. I am afraid that if it is not treating on time it can be worse in future.

I know you said you have a fibroid that was a size 10.1. I went to my doctor just to make sure I don’t have any fibroids and sure enough he found one. He took a picture of it and on the ultrasound photo it says R which I’m assuming it’s on my right side. And below that it’s shows 9.1. Is that how big my fibroid is and if so how big would that be. Thanks

I think your assumptions are correct. A 9cm fibroid is probably in between a lemon and a medium sized orange. Normally your doctor won't recommend removing them unless they are bothering you (i.e. heavy, long periods, severe cramps, or infertility). Hopefully it stays unnoticeable. Keep an eye on it though :)

@@tianasmith8955 well my doctor already said he wants to do surgery to remove it. And I have been having really bad periods with blood clots and bad cramping. Also I am trying to get pregnant so best chance for me to get pregnant is to remove the fibroid.

If your fibroid is hurting you that bad why are you waiting until September to get it done. If it was hurting me that bad I would get it done right away.

Lately, I've been having more good days than bad and I just started a new position at work that I really need to get a grip on before I'm out for a month. I'll be ok.
