I miss these songs so much. My mother was a choir director at my dad's church and at the various schools she taught at. There is no better music than this for me. I could listen all day. My throat swells up so its hard to get the words out but I let the tears flow and eventually they do. I wish more of our younger generation could hear these tunes and embrace them. Its straight scripture as far as I'm concerned. What a feeling.
I totally agree. I love the way she plays that piano! I’m learning piano and would love to get a copy of that sheet music to learn how to play that bluesy gospel like she does!
@@bobbydowns4785 Sadly that is true. I grew up in an Apostolic Pentecostal church. Whatever disagreements with their doctrine exist, when you are in their services and they sing a song like this you can feel the Spirit ripple through the building like the ripples from dropping a rock in calm water. Power.
@@bobbydowns4785my little town Pentecostal church this is our church small towns still have church as they did bsck in the 69,70,80,90’s 2000’s and even today. We sign all old hymns our church is mainly older generation old school Pentecostal They still exsist
