the greatest breed of dog! the puppies are a bit disorganized but with good owners/trainers they become the wisest dog that one could imagine.. (and we have had several other breeds prior to our rhodesian) but require an experienced "dog-wise" owner - they do not respect a stupid master (which shows their good sense).

My Ridgeback has never hurried food - will often walk away from it and come back later. She's absolutely useless in warm weather and scared of cats. What the hell happened with her DNA? She's a top pedigree.

Can you suggest a good place to buy a RR in the Chicago land area. Also, I plan to buy a Chessie. Do you think there will be a problem with the two breeds cohabitation..

When Tim Tebow was a baby, he ate very fast. He took all of his mommy's breast milk in a matter of seconds and gulped a whole bottle of formula down in seconds. He hastly followed his mommy when he was hungry
RR's need to be feed about four times a day in small quantities...and an additional some milk would help...larger quantities of food will make them vomit...plus no matter how much you feed them they are always hungry....speaking from experience...

RR. are always hungry and they will get obese if you allow them to eat when they think they are hungry. You will also notice that the pups are actually in very good condition.
