It is so funny that during Heavyweight, the camera guy is first focusing on Tommy thinking he is playing those "guitar" solos. Amit has to go stand next to Erez for the camera guy to realize the solos are coming from Erez. I won't blame him if he doesn't know his Infected, lol. It's just funny!
megaweezerfan I'm pretty sure with older songs they recorded the drums and Guitar and incorporated them in the song live/on record, but just very subtle. I think within the latest years they've just used less instrumental. Especially the guitarist, you barely hear him live actually. Drums on the other hand are noticeable. I think they shouldn't be cutting out the guitarist, when I heard him do a solo live he was incredible, I think they should give him a bigger spotlight honestly because on all the drops he's just wasted or tuned out.
I saw this show when they came to LA in July and it was one of the most incredible nights I've ever had. Few groups put on a good show like IM. I lost my shit on Kazabubu.

True about DuvDev. I don't think he's taken any singing lessons imho, but that just shows he has music embeeded in him and he sings out of pure experience. That shows how much he has to offer and how much inspiration he draws out of anything

I've been to shows in my life and Infected is the most INSANE one I've ever been to. These guys get you FUCKED UP on their music, and people dissing Duvdev need to be there to experience the level of energy this guy blows into the crowd. Absolutely fucking crazy! P.S. I've been a fan since their psychedelic days, since the 90's. These guys have only improved since then. Fact. And so have their shows, a thousand fold.

Wheres the psychedelia? I would of rather had a well thought out live dj set. Something that really hit home. Instead of having the whole band kind of just adding over to the sound bring in the guitar a third into the set and play something like heavywieght or stretched to really string your brain out. A more personal focus on specific songs.

At a live show, a hype man is perfect for keeping the energy flowing. If you want to hear obnoxious hyping, search for Rudimental - he almost always has a hype man going a little too hard for the music. Though I agree, the 'pumping up' isn't the best thing to hear when you're listening to it at home :)

Evil-Dog Productions Well for me, (and as we all know music is very much subjective), one thing that never worked for them is Amit Duvedevanis inssecent use of a microphone. He cannot sing, its overused and just very very bad most of the time. Lyrics can be a powerful tool when done right, but for them it always was more resonante with its subliminal and takes the back stage. Their absolute best strength is the Oomph (for a lack of a better word) that they can convie when done right, melodies, drums and breaks in a beautiful mixture. Last time I heard something like that was 6 years ago from them I think with Legend of the Black Swarma, and before that it was probably B.P. Empire and Classical Mushroom.
Tomas Bellmyr well from what I hear, I agree he's not very good live but in black swarma there's a lot of singing and it's quite excellent, I'm never sure if it's him or a collab though. This was insane!!! For the people that say that DuvDev used little the microphone, try dancing and jumping 1.30 hr on the stage, DuvDev is a show man :). Guys this is a concert its obvious they gonna change slightly their songs and make some remixes, don't expect sound like in the studio when playing live. I don't critisize he being on stage, but why those guitarrists, they are useless.
Their songs have guitar in them and they don't play guitar... the guitarist and drummer play with them when they play live...
