    Growing Blue Pea flower from seeds or from cutting is really very easy. Plus, it's an extremely hardy vine that bloom in the hottest period of the year. The color of the blooms would be either blue or white (mostly).

    I love tropical plants, however the weather in my area doesn't allow me to grow them outdoors. Do you know canna? Can they be grown indoors?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Navya Nair, thank you so much for your feedback, appreciate it. Well, honestly saying I haven't tried them growing indoors but they are really very hardy plant. So, if you can manage to provide them at least 3-4 hours of sunlight, they should be doing fine. I know about Canna and would be uploading video soon. They can be grown indoors but please note that they need lots of sunlight to bloom well. Give them less water and less fertilizers and it would be better if you go for the drawf variety of Canna. Thank you once again and please let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to help you. Have a wonderful time.

      If you wanted to go to a LOT OF TROUBLE AND EXPENSE, you could probably build a window"greenhouse", preferably with double pane glass. It would need to be 4 - 6 feet wide and high and 1 foot or more deep to give you enough space - if you REALLY LOVE the flowers - LOL. Are you above Twisp/Winthrop or to the east toward Spokane? I grew up in the Okanogan valley.

    My seeds are green so can I sow them now or let them dry first ( I have removed green pods from plants)

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Nalini Bhadalkar, Chanced would be low even after drying...actually, we should collect the brown seed pods, not the green one. That way, we can get the matured seed, thank you :-)

      Dry the pods outdoor till they turn darker color like brown or black then you can plant it

    Hello, it's been around 2 months since my aprajita is growing from seeds, but there is no flowering. Whay could be the reason? I live in Noida waise.

    • @GardeningUpbeat

      @Vasudha Singh, They would bloom as they don't ask for much, no worry! Though they should've bloomed till now, there is still time and 2 months is not too much considering you started from the seeds. Please make sure they are getting enough direct sunlight and they would bloom soon. I have the 2nd part of the video where I have covered from seedling stage to flowering with complete details. If you like, you can watch it here - th-cam.com/video/s2bhdOw6_H4/w-d-xo.html Thank you for watching the video :-)

      Hey Vasudha! It’s been 3 months, any update with your plant? :) I sowed mine about a month ago and still it’s in the sapling stage! Maybe we both could be having the same problem, any idea of what went wrong?

      @@SimranMurar Hey Simran! No improvement at all. They are growing well in proper sunlight and with watering. I keep the soil moist also as this plant loves it but even after 6 months I can't see any flowering. I'm unable to find the problem here
