I prefer Handel. The very little he wrote whilst still in possession of the umlaut - before he moved to Italy then England as a young man - is with one or two exceptions, almost entirely forgotten!
There's a version of this written for organ and orchestra that's also great, but alas it doesn't seem to be uploaded by anyone. I wish this was adapted for a modern symphony orchestra, because it would bring out the grandeur even more, especially for the first moevment. Thanks much for the upload of the AAM performance.
I was wondering about the name of that building as well! It's very beautiful and so is the music that accompanies it. Thank you very much for sharing it with us!
Que hermoso!!! Eres un genio Handel ojala estuvieras vivo...
I love Händel; he's perhaps my favourite right now.

In my humble opinion, a superb performance.

What is the name of the building used in this video? Thank you for posting Handel's work. Very appreciative.
It is the Royal College of Music in South Kensington, London.
use your eyes
Just think, Handel wrote this and 11 other concertos in 3 weeks.
that's not really the full story. you havo to take in mind that he used a lot of material from previous works for almost all of the concertos.
