Love this version - a string player's delight. It is both more intimate and more polyphonically satisfying than the more standard orchestra version, while letting the solo violin shine. Great intensity throughout. Augustin's solo work is of the highest tier, of course. Bravo!!

As Hadelich said in Facebook, the orchestrated version sounds too heavy to appreciated ths solo violin. This chamber music version is more explicit as for its intimate nature than the orchestrated version. This sure reminded me of that famous D major concert by Chausson. Both are absolute excellence in the chamber music history of modern France.

Sehtr interessante, aber nur teilweise wirklich überzeugende Bearbeitung. Denn die Farben der Bläser: Holz und Blech können auch durch einen Klavierpart nicht
ersetzt werden. Trotzdem großes Lob, alle, auch Augustin spielen klasse!
Great playing, but not my version. Love the violin and piano version for the contrast, then with orchestra for the power. This is something in betweeen nowhere
Zweifelsohne spielen alle Beteiligten vor allem Augustin hervorragend, aber diese Bearbeitung wird der Farbigkeit von Chaussons Partitur einfach nicht gerecht!
