"Deep in me" came to me from a place of deep silence within. The kind of silence that connects you to the universe and to all the hearts in the world.
Putting myself in the shoes of a woman, living in oppression, forbidden to speak, these words started to take birth, also from my own lived experience as a black woman navigating through a white male ego-dominated world. These words are my weapons too.
May they empower and defend all women.
