How I wish BBW would bring back some of the cherished scents by many - to name a few, Pumpkin Banana Muffin/Banana Nutmeg Pudding, Pumpkin French Toast, Honeyed Pear, Radiant Red Maple, Winter Garland, & Tequila Lime Cupcake. Ha yea, the size of that collection from my other house still haunts me to this day! Moving a collection of nearly 1,000 was something I never want to go through again. I had candles coming out of my nose and stashed in every nook and cranny. Despite that, I still enjoying having a somewhat more manageable collection of candles now!

LOL that year was such a mess for them! The number of "inspiration" labels that came out of their design team was insane. I could never figure out the rhyme or reason for such random and off-brand labels and it all makes sense now!

Totally slept on! I kept debating for the majority of the reason whether it was a repackage of Caramel Apple or not so I didn't pull the trigger until way late in the season. I had my mask on every time I smelled it in store so I could never get a good read on it. Of course it transformed into something mad delicious once it's lit!
I LOVE Parisian Rose one of my absolute favorites. I would really like to give Pink Petal Teacake a try. I highly regret not getting Rome and Banana Walnut Muffin when I had the opportunity. You KILLED IT in this video! You managed to wrap up over 400 candles in less than 30 minutes like a Boss! Beautiful collection! And your photoshop skills are incredible. This video was very motivating to me, thank you! ❤️♈️🔥

I gave it a juicy thumbs-up! You have so many older ones I would love to have but I decided to put a stop on Mercari purchases. (expense plus as you said, older candles can become weak etc) I did get Sweet Cherry Pie, Raspberry Peach Macaron, Root Beer Float, & Pink Bubblegum. The first 3 were awesome but I could barely smell the Pink Bubblegum. My comment would be way too long if I listed ALL my faves we share, but here's a few: Ciao Bella, PPTC, Banana Split Milkshake, SPC, Saltwater Taffy, Pistachio Ice Cream, Bourbon Maple, Caramel Apple, Thanks & Giving, Butter Rum Eggnog, & OMG those 2 Pier 1 ones- Honey Cream Latte' & Strawberry Apple Galette!!! Thank you! And yea, I have so many candles in my stash as it is, I couldn't imagine adding more to it via Mercari, lol! But yes, Ciao Bella was such a late hit for me. I was first upset that there wasn't a true coffee note but once I got over that, it's just the most delicious vanilla/cream/bakery with a little something extra fragrance that's my go-to when I want something neutrally sweet and delicious. I think I've already finished like two of them and cherish every backup LOL.

Hey Jennifer! I totally feel you. It's SO overwhelming. My hand was forced since it was during a move, but I guess it also gave me ample pressure to deal with it on the spot. Basically, anything other than my top faves (PPTC, Rose Water Meringue & Love) - if I had more than 2-3 of them, I sold off the extras on Mercari. I then tried to finish anything that wasn't grody or murky in those months leading up to the move. If it WAS grody or murky, I tossed them since I just didn't have the time to deal with or melt anything that was already tarnished and had grey wax. I wasn't truly in love with any of my Yankee & Kringles, so a few went to friends/family and the rest were donated. I also had some candle buddies in that town who loved candles as much as I did, so they were happy to take off about 100 new/used candles from my house.
I know that everyone has different tastes for things, including scents. I also know that some of the scents listed are discontinued but I am surprised not to see scents like vanilla birch, autumn spiced wreath, autumn night, white pumpkin, autumn day (originally acorn and fig), balsam and firewood, frozen lake , cinnamon and pine cone, tree farm, twisted peppermint, white barn the original, sandalwood vanilla, and snowed in as part of your collection.
Great collection! I like how you store them. I showed my husband and we're going to get the same type of shelves for my collection too! I noticed that you burn yours and put them back into your collection. I never do that. I burn one until I finish it then I throw it away.
Yea, it's not the most glamorous or appealing shelving system but it gets the job done especially in a storage room or closet. And ha yea, I love burning a different scent every single time that I never find myself burning just one candle all the way through. The TH-cam reviewing schedule also kinda gets you in a pattern of burning something halfway and quickly moving onto the next too.
Ahhh! I wish they would bring Sea Salt & Maple Popcorn back! I know it’s similar to Summer Boardwalk (which is my fave)...but I could tell the difference in them. I loved Sea Salt & Maple Popcorn so much! 🤗🤗🤗 Love your collection! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 So many memories on your shelves! I love how there are actually stories behind some of the candles! 😂😂😂 I remember the Nook fiasco! I’ve been buying candles from them since about 2015. Before that, I used to buy their home fragrance oils back in the day when they had them. I never expected to become this obsessed with candles, but it’s just so much fun! I burn mine everyday too. I love seeing your candle collection videos. I see that you did get rid of some older and/ or not so loved ones/ crappy burn one's or just finished some up. I would love to go over your house just to smell all of those scents I missed throughout the years. Also, I would just like to rearrange your candles with all duplicates placed together! Lol. TFS.
The fact that you don’t decorate with them really influenced how I kept my candles. Very classy. Not in-your-face crazy candle person. (Which we all are)
I really wish Marshmallow Musk would come back. I only purchased one and have regretted it ever since. I would absolutely love it in body care as well. Love your collection!
Omg I loved that fragrance! They release so many tired repackages now, it's like throw us a bone and release us a one hit wonder from the vault instead!
my favourite fall candle has got to be Autumn. It used to be Leaves, but the Autumn candle doesn't have that clove scent and it really really reminds me of taking a walk in the woods when the air is super crisp, the leaves are all brown and soggy on the ground and the apples in the apple trees are over ripe. Just my favourite of all fall candles!
ahh yes i love these videos! Kent I am sooo happy to report to you that I have not purchased a candle from BBW since January 23rd....not that i have been counting the days but I came across the receipt from that purchase this afternoon...Anyway i got really bad every day all i could think about was when the candles were going to be on sale again..but once i realized that i had a shopping addiction things started to get better for me...plus i have been trying to burn through what i have and i dont even think that is possible ugh lol
Hi Jayne! I am so proud of you and thanks so much for sharing that with me. Shopping addiction is so real and something that I am very passionate about, but don't talk about it too much on my channel as it is a sensitive topic, but I am glad you realized that you might have had a problem! It is the primary reason I am not as active on TH-cam as before, because I really don't like contributing to the excessive over-buying that exists on social media. It is so easy to get sucked in and easy to think that it is normalized behavior - the never-ending hauls, emails, newness and updates - and all of it is actually celebrated and directly endorsed by the brands. I still struggle to this day to distinguish the fine line of enjoying fragrance in moderation vs. promoting shopping. I hope you enjoy the collection you already have and find a long-term balance for yourself!

I’m looking for someone to do a video only displaying the candles as opposed to talking about the scents and what not. Currently mine are stacked in the candle holder crates the store gives to prevent breaking. I’d like to see someone pan the camera out and show how nice the candles look on display and the shelves used to display.
Beautiful collection. I wish I could try Strawberry Rhubarb Marmalade and Blackberry Grapefruit. Some of my faves are in there - Midnight Orchid, Pink Bubblegum, Ballerina Rose, and PPTC.
Strawberry Rhubarb Marmalade was just alright to me. Blackberry Grapefruit was excellent though. Just bursting with this zingy juicy sweet blackberry fragrance!
Try candle warmers. The was exposed to air loses its fragrances, so the candle warmer heat from the bottom. U can also scoop out the was and put it in a wax melter.
I was wondering how long they last my oldest candle is abt 2 yrs old ... I haven’t burned it bc I’m tired of Blueberry scents... I wish I was in candles back in the day bc u have some gems! Tfs!
The candles are generally fine for about 4-5 years. It's after that mark, that some of them tend to have issues. The ones that develop the weird orange wicks only happen on unburned candles so you're actually better off having burned the candle at least once (thus turning the wick black) to better preserve the candle for future use.
So many great scents in there. Plus so many great scents that haven’t returned to bbw. I personally can’t believe Pink petal tea cake isn’t back 2 yrs in a row. I burned through all of mine.
Yea, you really have to give BBW props for releasing SO many scents over the past years. It's just unfortunate that they release so many of them just once. I know they're a business, but I just wish sometimes that they would release a wider variety just for the sake of fragrance/variety/pride rather than strictly based on what top scents sell the best and just repackaging those top-sellers to eternity.
@@TheCandleChannel Definitely, especially when they have scents released in seasonal packaging back to back. Like Vanilla Birch, White tea & Sage, Fresh cut lilacs, etc. There definitely could be room for variety.

I’m at the beginning of the video, but I’m wondering how many of each scent you will buy if you really like.😊I buy 10-20 of each one I love depending how much I love it 😋
Since I'm realizing that they go bad and I physically cannot get to them quick enough, I buy no more than 2 of something I truly love - which is quite rare these days. Previously, I used to buy about 6 of like Rose Water Meringue, PPTC or Love Rose Vanilla. There's always going to be a new favorite that comes out in the future that I just end up drowning in candles if I hoard them too much.

I love seeing your candle collection videos. I see that you did get rid of some older and/ or not so loved ones/ crappy burn one's or just finished some up. I would love to go over your house just to smell all of those scents I missed throughout the years. Also, I would just like to rearrange your candles with all duplicates placed together! Lol. TFS.
The fact that you don’t decorate with them really influenced how I kept my candles. Very classy. Not in-your-face crazy candle person. (Which we all are)

my favourite fall candle has got to be Autumn. It used to be Leaves, but the Autumn candle doesn't have that clove scent and it really really reminds me of taking a walk in the woods when the air is super crisp, the leaves are all brown and soggy on the ground and the apples in the apple trees are over ripe. Just my favourite of all fall candles!

It honestly smells so similar to Yankee's Chocolate Layer Cake too. I think it's just the word "bacon" on the label that makes it so coveted!
ahh yes i love these videos! Kent I am sooo happy to report to you that I have not purchased a candle from BBW since January 23rd....not that i have been counting the days but I came across the receipt from that purchase this afternoon...Anyway i got really bad every day all i could think about was when the candles were going to be on sale again..but once i realized that i had a shopping addiction things started to get better for me...plus i have been trying to burn through what i have and i dont even think that is possible ugh lol
Hi Jayne! I am so proud of you and thanks so much for sharing that with me. Shopping addiction is so real and something that I am very passionate about, but don't talk about it too much on my channel as it is a sensitive topic, but I am glad you realized that you might have had a problem! It is the primary reason I am not as active on TH-cam as before, because I really don't like contributing to the excessive over-buying that exists on social media. It is so easy to get sucked in and easy to think that it is normalized behavior - the never-ending hauls, emails, newness and updates - and all of it is actually celebrated and directly endorsed by the brands. I still struggle to this day to distinguish the fine line of enjoying fragrance in moderation vs. promoting shopping. I hope you enjoy the collection you already have and find a long-term balance for yourself!
@@TheCandleChannel You really helped me a while back...i left a comment saying i was obsessing over BBW candles your reply helped me a lot...everyday i was going in there almost they know me on a first name basis in there...its been really NICE not obsessing it got so bad last fall that everyday i kept going in there in case they got something new like i was gunna find THE end all be all candle...and realizing that was not going happen helpd me so much!
I burn my candles no matter the seasons xD I can burn a Fresh balsam one in the summertime if I feel in the mood 🤣

I’m looking for someone to do a video only displaying the candles as opposed to talking about the scents and what not. Currently mine are stacked in the candle holder crates the store gives to prevent breaking. I’d like to see someone pan the camera out and show how nice the candles look on display and the shelves used to display.
Beautiful collection. I wish I could try Strawberry Rhubarb Marmalade and Blackberry Grapefruit. Some of my faves are in there - Midnight Orchid, Pink Bubblegum, Ballerina Rose, and PPTC.
Strawberry Rhubarb Marmalade was just alright to me. Blackberry Grapefruit was excellent though. Just bursting with this zingy juicy sweet blackberry fragrance!
Try candle warmers. The was exposed to air loses its fragrances, so the candle warmer heat from the bottom. U can also scoop out the was and put it in a wax melter.

I was wondering how long they last my oldest candle is abt 2 yrs old ... I haven’t burned it bc I’m tired of Blueberry scents... I wish I was in candles back in the day bc u have some gems! Tfs!
The candles are generally fine for about 4-5 years. It's after that mark, that some of them tend to have issues. The ones that develop the weird orange wicks only happen on unburned candles so you're actually better off having burned the candle at least once (thus turning the wick black) to better preserve the candle for future use.

So many great scents in there. Plus so many great scents that haven’t returned to bbw. I personally can’t believe Pink petal tea cake isn’t back 2 yrs in a row. I burned through all of mine.
Yea, you really have to give BBW props for releasing SO many scents over the past years. It's just unfortunate that they release so many of them just once. I know they're a business, but I just wish sometimes that they would release a wider variety just for the sake of fragrance/variety/pride rather than strictly based on what top scents sell the best and just repackaging those top-sellers to eternity.
@@TheCandleChannel Definitely, especially when they have scents released in seasonal packaging back to back. Like Vanilla Birch, White tea & Sage, Fresh cut lilacs, etc. There definitely could be room for variety.

Yea! I actually have both a hot plate warmer and a candle lamp, so I use one of those two on the ones that have dudded out on me.
I miss radiant red maple, and Tangerine and honey.

I’m at the beginning of the video, but I’m wondering how many of each scent you will buy if you really like.😊I buy 10-20 of each one I love depending how much I love it 😋
Since I'm realizing that they go bad and I physically cannot get to them quick enough, I buy no more than 2 of something I truly love - which is quite rare these days. Previously, I used to buy about 6 of like Rose Water Meringue, PPTC or Love Rose Vanilla. There's always going to be a new favorite that comes out in the future that I just end up drowning in candles if I hoard them too much.
