Sooner Magic 🎩🪄🏈
No this is the Auburn fan experience 😂
@@benjamintinney640You're right , they experienced SOONER MAGIC.
@@SJVA Exactly 😂 they'll get used to it soon enough
That pick 6 was a great defensive call. The linebacker held the blitz bluff just long enough before dropping out and stumbling on the way back. If he didnt almost fall Thorne might have seen him
I said the same thing, great defensive scheme on that play.
That ball was tipped also
this SEC homer will never recognize it. Oh well...
It was a good call defensively. But Auburn had no business throwing the ball at that point in the game. Giving the ball to 27 could’ve put the final nail in the coffin. Auburn quite literally threw the game away. As they have done in every game this season and in most big games since 2021z
@@Jeremuh I can't say you're wrong there. I couldn't believe they didn't feed that RB
Since 2000, Oklahoma is 5-1 vs. SEC teams from the state of Alabama.
LSU is one of the only programs who has OU’s number
@@CiviTacisn’t Oklahoma and LSU gonna play each other every year at the end of the year?
Oh….so OU is better than Bama, is that the point we are trying to make here? guess we can just cancel the game in November and go ahead and crown the Sooners SEC champs. smh
@@JTWaters68that’s not what he was saying lol
Start bragging early. Your SEC history is just beginning.
Tennessee +10 in points off turnovers; wins by 10
JP narrative: Tennessee blows out Oklahoma
Oklahoma +7 in points off turnovers; wins by 6
JP narrative: Auburn gives game away to Oklahoma
Exactly lol
Thunder up
Because anyone with a brain, who watched both games, knows Auburn(who is a bad team) pissed the game away and Tennessee COULD have put up 40 if Heup didn't give OU some respect in his return. You're going to lose at least 5 conference games this year...you should brace yourself.
@@TheCADDestMonkey Tell me you're an SEC homer without saying you're an SEC homer. 😂😂😂
@@TheCADDestMonkeyAnyone with a brain can see Tennessee is not that good, Tennessee only won by 10 points against a QB that was so rattled he couldn’t do a thing and turned the ball over 3 times, not to mention they played all of OUs backups on offense 😂
what happened to talking about the winners first? thought I was gonna see some OU love. Damn Josh
SEC homer.
Well, Oklahoma didn’t win the game. Auburn lost it. This is the reason why.
@@VerticalMARS1nah you gotta play 4 quarters, Auburn couldn't do it
@@michaelbardis
Well, think about this. …Oklahoma certainly didn’t play 4 quarters either . Ha.
@@VerticalMARS1 I mean they clearly won the game cause oh idk the scoreboard says they did 🙃 both teams had their good and bad quarters. OU was able to have a great 4th, lead them to 17 points. Score a big TD, force a big TO, secure the win. 🤷🏻♂️ idk cope harder I guess
And we down 5 starting receivers and 3 line man along with our best running back! BOOMER
Oklahoma has been recruiting at high level for years. Even their backups are more talented than most of Auburn players.
@@vilheard3030 auburn has been doing better than Ou over the past few years. Auburn is ranked ahead of them now in recruiting I think.
Freeze is battling a depleted roster from Harsin era
@@vilheard3030 Stop the cap. Cam Coleman alone was the #1 WR in the 24 class. OU's top receiver that game was a 3* transfer. There's not a team in the country that would look good down their top 5 WRs. If you think there is I'd love to hear who you think?
@@Mudblood37 Cam Coleman is a freshman, artificial ratings and stars attached to a high school player doesn't mean that it can contribute to leading a team. He makes freshman mistakes and have to develop. There's no "cap", Oklahoma has been recruiting at a much higher level than Auburn over the last few years. Next man up mentality is essential. There's backup players on Oklahoma roster that can start anywhere.
Or did Oklahoma find a way to make it happen? WTF dude..
Coaching cost auburn
You went on the road and won with a freshman qb, so it’s a noteworthy win. But let’s not get carried away, Auburn is not a good football team. They probably have two winnable games left on their schedule. They will likely finish 4-8.
@@JTWaters68 What part of that statement is getting carried away? Lol
@@Gabe23grif The numbers said throw the ball. Oklahoma stacked the line. What a call, an elite call by OU's defense.
@Sterlingrecruitment-m7p we shouldn’t of been throwing the ball anyway. Hunter just had a 20 yard rush. Put him back in the game and finish the game.
If OU had invested their time in cultivating Hawkins instead of Arnold, they would be sitting at 5 - 0 now.
Big facts, I haven't heard much about Jackson Arnold during off season, but I heard and saw clips of Hawkins, having flashes and making plays kind of had me like damn why isn't he starting
@@KColonelSanders405
As a big Sooner fan, I would like to challenge that statement. Where when and what "clips" have you seen of Hawkins? I only heard that he had a pretty good preseason camp....but then again, all twitchy QB's can make plays. It's when it's needed can he do it consistently. Arnold has played timidly and tried to hard to not make mistakes, which causes mistakes. The offensive line play has been sketchy all season and any QB would have struggled.
Without that pick 6, OU most likely doesn't win that game and the complaints about the offense would've still been at the forefront. Hawkins is a great player, but it's his athleticism that has allowed him to make plays that frankly Arnold can't make.
What if OU only scores 17 points against Texas? Or loses 4-5 more games?
Hawkins came in in the 2nd half.....OU then outscored the Vols 12 - 6. So Hawkins is, basically, undefeated so far this year.
If Hawkins would pass the ball more instead of scrambling so much, maybe they would've started cultivating him over Arnold.
Josh didn’t watch the game:/
Sooner Magic. It’s part of the history of OU football.
Oklahoma is a threat I've said it for years as a Texas native I don't think anyone should be surprised. Oklahoma has a stellar program.
Sooner fucking magic!
I love how all of these SEC fans who thought OU was just going to runaway and hide playing in the SEC, not go into Auburn with a true freshman QB making his 1st start without his top 5 receivers and half of his starting O-line out and get a win will put asterisks all over the place when talking about Auburn, but conveniently leave them out when it comes to OU. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen people say Auburn “clearly” outplayed OU and put up the yards and stats, but forgets to mention that 70 of those yards came on the final drive while OU was in prevent up 6 points. Including 50 that came on a completed Hail Mary on the last play. OU also had a 60 yard pass called back on a completely bogus offensive pass interference call that you could literally call on any play. Could have gone up 14, but punted instead. They called back a TD pass to Barnes on another bogus illegal motion call that was so close you couldn’t tell if he got set in super slow motion and once again could have been called 40 times that game but was only called on OU’s TD pass. There were multiple pi and defensive holding calls that could have gone the distance but it shows up as penalty yards. OU dominated the 1st and 4th quarters and this narrative of dominating OU is ridiculous. Throwing interceptions is part of the game. OU is one of the best at takeaways, Auburn is one of the worst at giving it away. So they played a bend but don’t break defense knowing they would probably cough a couple up. I don’t believe for a second Auburn out played OU by some wide margin. If you just take away the 60 yards from the Hail Mary at the end of the game when OU had every defender in the end zone and let them catch that they only outgained them by like 60 yards, and if they don’t call back the 60 yard pass on some BS they’re even. OU had their practice squad playing offense, it shouldn’t have even been close if the talent difference in the SEC is wide as everyone says it is.
Your math is not mathing. 482 to 291. Take away 60 yards that’s still a margin of 131 yards. I don’t know in what world that’s practically even.
@@JacksonMathis-w7t But we can see the logic clearly. BOOMER!
@@JacksonMathis-w7t you didn't read his whole comment, he said the penalties that took away a few tds and over 100yds from OU , keep up man😂

Auburn lost that game more than OU won it. Anyone who isn't biased and watched the whole game would say the same thing.
One thing, Hawkins' long pass to Hester was not a TD. Barnes ran it in for a TD from about the 5 yard line line.

0:34 this is the core of what he means. Auburn did more than enough to win but somehow gave the game up.
@@drwinstonOboogi 💯
@@mikebuck421 I'm an OU fan, so I'm admittedly a little biased. But I disagree. OU defense did what they needed to do to hold Auburn to a low enough score, enabling us to have a comeback and win in the last 9 1/2 minutes of the game. With only 1 turnover. If there had been multiple turnovers resulting in touchdowns (like OU vs TN), I'd be more inclined to agree with the narrative that Auburn lost more than OU won. But as it is, Auburn just didn't do enough and OU did what they had to in order to win it.
@@mikebuck421 Sounds like neither of you actually watched the game. You're both wanting to give Auburn credit for driving the length of the field and not give Oklahoma credit for their goal line stand that denied Auburn any points from the drive. Getting outplayed on the goal line and getting outcoached on the interception is how Auburn " somehow gave the game up".
As a fan of an OU opponent going back to the Big 8, this is what OU does. They win and you can't count a game over until the game is over. The only time I felt confident they would lose was against Nebraska in the mid-1990s. MIZ
1. OU completely baits the Auburn QB with a fake blitz/drop all in coverage play, and it works perfectly giving up the interception.
2. Josh: Auburn gave this away.
Bruh....that play call was genius.
Payton Thorne makes every defensive coordinator look genius

Give the Sooners the credit they deserve! They absolutely BATTLED for the win. Auburn didn’t lose this game. Oklahoma held on and did what they needed to do to get it done. Pitiful.
It's called Sooner Magic, JP. Plus, Auburn has NEVER won against OU. Not once.
I understood OU’s plan going into the ballgame. It worked, but it was also a gamble. Don’t turn the ball over and hopefully the defense can turn the game around. I’ve seen a million times and it seems to work most of the time.
You didnt mention how genius the playcall and shell coverage was. 3rd&4 right on the edge of field goal range, Auburn is thinking a blitz is coming. Bluff cover 0 with 3 late drop hook zones. QB snaps it sees a slant with no one in the middle of the field. The cover 0 shell allowed an End a free rush, blitzers peel off and the rest is history. Defensive playcalling won that game, Auburn didnt throw it away. Smh
Sooner Magic baby

I went ahead and watched this because it came up in my feed over and over.
Sooner Magic Baby. That's what happened Josh Pate.
Being an Auburn fan should count as military service, Josh. We love to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I’m still sick from this game. Now we gotta go to Athens and play an emotional Georgia after losing to Bama. I’m taking UGA in the points and then some, may tease the line the wrong direction for +money. I took Auburn U7.5 wins this year and then took them U6.5 doubled down. Doubtful we can salvage a season. Auburn is 20th SP+ and 2-3. We are the worst best team in college football.
As an Oklahoma -4.5 and Alabama money line bettor this was an emotional roller coaster of a weekend.
Idk why I hear so much hate about OU from SEC fans. Y’all really love talking crap bc you know we’re down this season. Telling us we’ll regret joining.
Well SEC, you better get your licks in while we’re down. This year is y’all’s opportunity. Oklahoma won’t be down forever.
Auburn already squandered their chance. Who’s next?
Even if we end up being down for another season after this I’ll still be glad we joined the SEC and I’ll still be confident in Oklahoma coming back because I know what our standard is. We are one of the best programs in the nation. The only SEC program with more nattys than us is Alabama.
Hester was terrific. Hawkins gave hope for all of us.
Sooner Magic Baby!!!
I don't think an Auburn loss stuns anybody at this point.
I love that You still call it the "Red River Shootout".
I literally turned the game off and went to the store. When I came back, I thought I would just see how it ended, and was pleasantly surprised. I haven't turned a game off in at least a decade.
It was 3rd and 4 I believe it was and OU lined up the LBs in the box, but dropped all 3 into coverage shortly after a fake blitz which was brilliant. Looks like Thorne tried to hit the quick screen realizing it too late, but the big issue was they put the ball in the air again with 4 mins to go. Auburn should have rolled the dice on getting the 1st on the ground and punting it on 4th to an OU offense that has been stagnant lately. In OU's game against Tennessee, I think they did the same thing. Keep the ball out of the air for the most part and don't risk fumbles or INTs once they had a few scares from our D. Auburn should have played conservative. With all that being said, Sooner Magic
There was a lot of big talk about how OU can't play in an SEC road game environment. But I didn't see any false starts, or difficulty calling audibles, or timeouts forced by noise. Also, that crowd barely made a peep, until the 2nd half. I was completely unimpressed.
Yall gonna realize that OU isn’t trash. We can beat anyone not named UGA or Bama. Hell if Jackson Arnold doesn’t gift Tennessee those 3 turnovers we easily could have won that game. I’m glad Brent changed QBs as there have been rumors Hawk was better than Arnold all summer. Curious to see where Arnold portals to
My Auburn Tigers are done for this year. I pray we keep our good players after the season and keep our recruiting class. That is our only hope. Start playing the freshmen.
"What a great time to play Georgia btw."
Lol shade at both Auburn and Georgia, respect.
I cant believe Oklahoma is 4-1 with 11 starters out. Thats depth..BUT...that record is about to change. Our schedule is so hard. With no offensive starters, its going to be tough.
Auburn lost but u highlight them? Baiting ou fans for clicks huh? How about great job sooners! You came back against impossible odds w a 17 pt 4th qtr in a hostile, loud 'Jeerdan-Hare' down 7 starters w a tf qb and patch-worked oline. Ou MADE plays on both sides in the 4th! Gritty! Auburn didnt give us anything, the pic6 was the perfect defense against that rpo call (OUr first time running that drop zone the entire game) and was EXECUTED!
An SEC homer.
This guy is The biggest anti ou person around!!!!
yup. SEC homer.
Josh and Joel K don't think Venables is the guy. Time will tell
Don’t forget what part of the country he is from.
I didnt get to watch the game live but watched it later knowing the final score. When i did watch it i couldnt believe they were going to win.
It was a good win. The offense showed some signs of life in the 4th quarter. Hawkins is the guy. The kid has grit. True freshman, first start on the road in SEC country and he was unflappable. The Oline played a little better. Still needs work though. Hopefully OU can use the bye week to get players healthy before Texas.
Oklahoma insiders, Ted Lehman and Gabe Ikard, said before the game that Auburn is a phenomenally talented team with a great scheme. Just said that they were shooting themselves in the foot with bad turnovers. That proved to be true! Great team that gets in their own way!
But Sooner Magic is a real thing, baby!
I’m a Bama fan so this is hard to say, Malzahn should still be the coach at Auburn. He was a roller coaster coach but he still knew how to win. Malzahn has a winning record against Freeze, let that sink in. Hugh Freeze is not a good coach; he never won the SEC West, he never made the playoffs, and he never coached a Heisman candidate.
Auburn is the best 2-3 team I’ve seen.
Turnovers are defining their season
Sooner magic is real!! It is not over till the clock hit 0:00.
It’s Karma for hiring Hugh Freeze.
And stop blaming a guy that was there 2 years and was thrown under the bus before he ever coached a game.
This is Hugh’s QB. In the era of transfer portal and NIL 2 years is the equivalent of 4 years in terms of rebuilding
The pic that Auburn's quarterback threw was not his fault. Given the way that the Play broke down and the play called he made the right decision but trying to get rid of it. Oklahoma completely forced that turnover based on a bad call
Give credit where credit is due, Oklahoma called a great defensive play that won the game. Oklahoma has a lot of fight
Apparently the SEC isn’t just the difficult conference, but the least respectful of others’ teams as well. We wouldn’t want SEC fans to get a reputation now would we?
100% the conference is most disrespectful to the other teams. Who ever said otherwise?
As an Auburn fan, I remember once talking to big 10 fans online and they didn't even believe that I was rooting against SEC teams in the bowl games/playoffs. Which I totally was.
Auburn needs to stop the turnovers. The schedule gets tougher but they still have potential to get to 6+ wins. Coaches got to keep the spirits up and not loose the locker room. WDE
Sooners have shown in 2 games they can compete in this league but still aren't getting credit for it. That's ok
Yet again Josh was dead wrong
Joe Tess, is an auburn fan. Riding their nuts the WHOLE game.
Totally undersold Oklahoma's resilence to find a way to win, on the road with a true freshman qb making his first start (AT JORDAN-HARE), down SO SO MANY starters, and a defense that leads thre nation in turnover margin, and put it ALL on Alburn giving it away. Disappointing take.

Well, any objective person can look out there and see if that’s exactly what happened. There’s even TH-cam videos stating this and they are not from Auburn or Oklahoma fans. These things happen. It’s like a NASCAR driver winning the race the entire time and crashes into the wall on the last lap, taking out several other cars. And some hapless driver that has no business winning somehow does.
Hey, it happens. Just be glad it did. Because you guys got worked by Tennessee last week. Nice introduction to the SEC.

Auburn would be nasty if they had a upper level quarterback
Seeing Josh trash Auburn.... this does put a smile on my face
Auburn is a better team than what their record says. They can’t take care of the ball. If they could just take care of the ball, especially in crucial parts of the game, they can surprise some people. They are a QB away from turning the narrative.
im in so much pain..why am I hurting myself even more by forcing myself to watch this video.

Damn proud of our boys! Never gave up, just damn proud!
No, you forget Arkansas, we are famous for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
OU wins: The other team just messed up
OU loses: OU can't compete against SEC teams.
Ok I see how this is going to work. OU will never win another game, according to SEC fans; there will just be games where SEC teams lose to OU.
Welcome to Oklahoma football. Never bet against the Sooners.
We call that Sooner Magic my friend. 🪄
Sooners have a winning record against SEC teams.
It went the other way last week. Ou lost by 10 at home to Tennessee after three absolutely terrible turnovers. Ou could easily be 2-0 in sec or 0-2 in sec.
Auburn will still have their miracle upset, could be TAMU? Kentucky is on a vengeance after I saw what they did to Georgia
prob gonna be u guys tbh
Beating Texas A&M won't be a miracle. Auburn has been in every game they've played this year so far, despite being so terrible. They will upset someone, and it won't take a miracle. It will take Auburn playing a perfect game instead.
AUBURN WILL BEAT GEORGIA
The answer, Josh, is called Sooner Magic.
auburn had talent all over the field. Every coach would take players off this team. You like what you see from roster good size and talent. But somehow in the day and age of nil they forgot to get a quarterback that could run this thing. even if half of those guys undercheive through the year they would be undefeated right now with a quality qb. the qb saturday threw good passes and ran well, but when faced with pressure he is not good.
Oh, how I was waiting for this after OU won. 😂

Our OC not trusting in the backup WRs to air it out and that’s a problem! Let Hawkins cook dayum it!
Aurban turnovers are why they are not 5-0? You can make anything work in your head if you try hard enough. For example, if the OU quarterback JH doesn't give the ball back to TN two times on the first play after the OU defense gifts it to him, killing the defense's momentum, OU WINS. Why? JH attempts to make a highlight reel showboating throw to a triple-covered player but throws it to TN instead. By the way, Quarterback DG made that same throw in the 2023 Texas-OU Red River. JH is attempting to be the man and find showboating highlight reel throws that cost use in the TN game. Therefore, OU should be 5-0. See how that works?
I'm assuming you mean JA, not (JH) and are referencing Jackson Arnold?
To be fair to Josh he said it was a talking point and that should doesn’t matter
The painful truth for Freeze is if he got a portal QB he's 5-0 facing a wounded Georgia right now.
@@Yam_Sandwich I don’t think you can say that because if he did that he wouldn’t have some of the NIL funds to get some of the 5 star freshman or other portal pieces
@@prestonjennings6277no, he said he didnt want to spend a million dollars on a quarterback. Not that he couldnt have, it’s that he didnt want to, and now he’s paying the price for it.
You act as though Auburn messed up, when OU was patient and kept playing, and won that game. When you underestimate this Oklahoma team, especially the Defense , you'll get your feelings hurt.
WTF!? You think a mere 11 point cushion is plenty-enough against a top 20 team?
I never seen so many OU fans turn on ol Josh before.
What changed? Lol
Question: How well would Auburn have done against OU if all 5 of their best receivers and half the OL missed the game? I'm just curious if the game would have been close. I'm guessing OU would have won big if the tables were reversed. Oh, and their best RB too.
The Texas/OU game will be a bloodfest in two weeks. They get after each other. Really makes no difference what the rankings are, or who has the better personnel. You can throw all the statistics away as well. Both teams will come into the stadium with blood in one eye, and doodoo in the other eye!!
