I can find pleasantness easily enough, but happiness is rare and difficult to find. Thanks for the tips. In the past year I've been happy twice for a few seconds each time, and that's an increase compared to before. I do believe this is why I still drink, when happiness is so rare, it's nice to at least feel pleasant for a while.
I'm not a Dr but the first one I used was closing my eyes and literally just thinking breathe in as I took a breath and breathe out as I exhaled. It really helped me start to understand how to meditate. I know you didn't ask me, but I know how frustrating a busy mind can be. Good luck on your journey 🙏
No. The intention is to get in that state but not fall asleep That's why they say to meditate while sitting straight up and feet on the floor at first.
These sound like affirmation not meditation. No offense at all intended. Or are you supposed to repeat it like a mantra while doing intentional breathing exercises?
