I've always been fascinated with topiary! I really enjoyed learning a bit more about your love of topiary; I had no idea your mother grew and sold them. Such a family legacy you have. It makes me smile. The nexus of art and plants. :)

I love topiary too and love the evergreen in my garden. My garden doesn't look sad over the winter. Although I am not in my forever home im already training lots of plants into topiary for my forever home.

“Growth follows the knife,” I’d never heard that and I think it will change my life.

I created a 8 ft yew elephant in my garden but difficult to maintain as it was walking through my herbaceous flower bed 😂 it’s now going to be a pyramid

Fabulous videio, inspirational . I did lose some of my box topiary last year to blight . It does seem to be quite established in Somerset now. The box caterpillar ,I spent many hours picking them off ,yes they where spoilt for the season ,but they are all budding again now .

Thank you I love topiary, I hope you make more topiary videos. I want to make a bear, but I don’t want to use wire frames. My plants are all small. Your video was very helpful, thank you.
