  • ABANDONED MYSTERIOUS STRUCTURES IN THE SMOKY MOUNTAINS EXPLORED!!! GRAVEYARD SHOWS TRAGEDY STRUCK!
This week we head out of Alabama and up into Tennessee on a family adventure! This abandoned community was once for the wealthy and nestled in the mountains along a beautiful creek. The graveyard tells of the tragedy that struck this once amazing resort!

I haven't had time to do the research but it is possible that Pearl Parton is related to Dolly Parton. Hoping to find out later this week if I have time to research her! Also here is the video from our first trip here back in January: th-cam.com/video/H6e2vNGmec0/w-d-xo.html

The majority of the Partons are related.
Elk mint is beautiful!! I live really close to there. I was planning on going there this year to walk the trails but covid had other plans for me.
I can’t believe how big Addy is now!! She grown so much this year!! Adorable as ever and always watching to make sure her daddy doesn’t get hurt☺️
      Great video Brandon as always!!!
      Hugs and love ❤️

1934 was the middle of the Great Depression and a lot of people were malnourished and unemployment was extremely high. Infant mortality would have been high. (The US is 51st in infant mortality in 2020. It's behind Cuba, Portugal, Bosnia, Slovenia, Ireland, Latvia, Estonia and several dozen others. Something to consider when you pay your medical insurance.)

So they claim. You think the government didnt use Genocide on these towns? They have been doing it for thousands of years. Ask them what happened to the Mayans, they don't know? Of course they know. Genocide. Poison the water supply, then claim it's "natural causes". And that is how history remembers it. Not murder. Isn't it ironic how all these illnesses, bubonic, Spanish, one day, they just.. TURN OFF? Their just gone? BULL SHIT. You were lied to about everything. Freemasons are not good guys, they are LUCIFERIANS. They do not even hide the satanism. They don't know what happened to the Egyptians, Mayans, Incas or Aztecs... Why not? THEY WERE THERE. .. TRYING TO STRIKE A DEAL FOR COCAINE LIKE THE EGYPTIONS, AND i THINK THEY WERE TOLD TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES, SO THEY MADE CIVILIZATIONS DISAPPEAR. They wouldn't? CV. They are doing it right now.

There was an old wooden shack just below a dam we fished at and my grandmother always said that's where the old hermit lived 100 years ago. I've always been fascinated by historical stuff like this. Hey, you are bout 5 min from my back yard. If youd been about 3 years earlier there were still dilapidated buildings attached to those chimneys. Park ripped them down . Almost all of them were built in the early 20th century in an old style. Mostly wealthy elites from Knoxville built these as vacation homes. My girlfriend is an Ogle from that family. The graveyard is actually some of the original family's that lived in there for generations.

Over out by Waialua There's an old cemetery. It has a set of graves from the 1918 epidemic, and a lot of child graves. The cemetary has stayed in use to 2000 at least. It is "On the way" to the spot where I dug my first Hutchinson, a 4pc. Waialua Soda Works in aqua. This was in 2008, and I've dug it off & on since, and sifted some top notch stuff from 100 YAG. This was the reason the Ewa Planration Hosptal was founded in 1893. This was to ease child mortality in the first year of life, which was pretty rough. Here "Baby luaus"remain common, a celebration of the first year of life. The Hawaiian population was hit hard in the first 100 years after "Discovery" in 1778. American ideals of public health were strong here, from missionary influence, and across the U.S. Public Health was generally promoted in the later 1800s.

What a gorgeous place to live - I realize, that way back when those homes and families weren't associated with the affluent. They were poor people - but nonetheless, still human beings with dignity and self-respect. I would LOVE to know the history of this National Park site. Who was there, why were they there, and when was the last residency of the area recorded. It figures that the State of Tennesee claimed this area for Park Lands.

My Dad's, Father died in early 1940s, from a Staff infection. He was frying chicken, & some grease popped on his hand & burned him (just a small spot), the only thing they had to fight infections was Sulpha drugs, according to my Grandma. Penicillin wasn't around. I'm sure his working on that farm, using his hands, contributed to the infection. Funny thing I'm allergic to penicillin. Luckily I was born when I was, or I might have suffered the same fate. Grandfather was born in 1899 or 1900, he was still a young guy. My Mom had Scarlet Fever, she was born in late 1932. So perhaps it was an epidemic of some sort.

Penicillin wouldn't have helped. He would have needed a antibiotic such as Bacteria. It is a Sulfa drug but it is designed to kill gram negative bacteria such as Staphacoccus.

I hunted with a gentleman and his widows family was the one of the last to be relocated from Cades Cove in the Smokys. They were moved to Townsend were she was born. She lives in Wetumpka currently. Her parents grew up in Cades Cove. Love going to the Smoky Mountains

I’ve been to Cade’s Cove a few times. It’s so beautiful in that area. I go up there when I visit my sister who lives in Maryville Tennessee

@@laurenoreilly4140 Cades Cove is my favorite place in the park. When we go I always plan to spend a full day there. I have been many times over the years and still find something new to see with every trip.

I enjoyed this video. Wow, there sure was a lot of chimneys. We’re they all from a homestead or part of the saw mill? It’s got my curiosity up.
    Thanks Brandan good video.
