Decathlon has some good budget bikes, just getting into cycling recently and I swear so many people in this industry are completely delusional to what the average person calls “budget”

Best recommendation if you want to save money : Buy a used bike, look for a friend who can check if everything is in a good condition. Check the wheels, the chain, look on the brakes and the rims if they look used. Especially for beginners is this a good starting point.

Good thing we are the leading platform for buying and selling pre-owned bikes😁

Thanks for this review. I’m currently in a Tri bike build now which will include the Cervelo P Series frame, SRAM 12 speed Etap AXS Force with blip box and remote shifters with the TriRig Alpha One Cockpit with medium length open scoops and Gamma 24 Carbon extension bars. Definitely not ‘budget’ anymore but it’ll give me years of great fun and racing.

You missed the Giant Trinity, which must surely be one of the most popular choices.

id suggest used. I got a p5 with dura ace di2, zipp 808s, and an adamo saddle that was only ridden outside during races and indoor beside that for $2000. just be patient and keep an eye out for deals!

Just get a couple of bicycle service courses and then hunt for second hand components. You can have the same setup with a fraction of these "cheap" prices. Btw, mind the compatibility charts. Good luck.

What are a few good sites to buy second hand triathlon bikes or bikes that could become triathlon bikes?

Why are some companies so lazy about designing their cockpit?! I almost got a P-Series at one point but couldn't get over them trying to pull a fast one on that rubbish of a crank set. Aside from that I've never witnessed any of these in stock.
