- This video is designed to teach you how to tackle blighted map without ever using the towers to your advantage and never failing a blighted map again!
NOTE THOUGH SOMETHING THINGS HAPPEN OUTSIDE OF YOUR CONTROL AN YOU CAN FAIL BUT IT IS RARE AND USUALLY A PLAYER BASED PROBLEM OR UR COMPUTER EXPLODING!
The Tl;DR to this strategy is literally use 3 amber oils! Amber oils allow you to spam a lot of towers and as long as build a mass of towers you "SHOULD" not lose.

my biggest issue with blight is that when you or any other content creator how to do blight almost never mention that you cant build towers if you get one shot. If you are not tanky enough just build towers strategy does not work because getting one shot by ranged mobs prevents you from building anything.
Spell suppression and evasion is a thing so thats on you. You dont have to go a tank to play blight
@@HeroicPilotLOL ofc it is, my point is that as far as i have encountered (i watched six or seven blight guides over last half a year) no one mentions that you need some defenses because mobs wont let you build towers. and in a lot of cases a single death means losing the map. Me mentioning this is to make people aware that you will fail if you are too squishy.
You need to stay away from the line of mobs and keep moving, only certain mobs target you directly, most focus on moving to the pump. Build your towers out before the mobs get there and move in when the line is clearer and then back up when mobs get there. You can't just afk blighted maps killer.

Ive played so many different builds from ranger to champion, if you fail to get any type of defense thats on you and ive played as a ranger with trash gear and i still won 90% of the blighted maps.
@@HeroicPilotLOL why do people keep making the worst possible interpretation of what i said. from my experience of playing blight even if you have good defenses. some mob spawns still can one shot you like the mobs which toss 20 fireballs straight out of portal then it opens.

There is one thing on atlas that affects blight maps, or you could say opening of blight map, if you got Unwavering Vision it wont let you add fragments
Bruh we really need like end-game optimal blight setup with atlast tree and scarabs, not a single video about that on youtube yet...
I cant get the scarabs, group play players keep buying them out. I am also prepping a reroll for this exact thing.
atlas tree doesnt matter in blight maps. it doesnt affect it.

Is there a beginner guide for people who are really beginning? Step one is start with a tier 16 map I am doing tier fives at the moment.

The issue is that these maps barely drop gold, and even worse, they have no ore materials for the league mechanic. I love blight, but I feel like the league mechanic punishes you for not running maps

Hey brother, do you know if map tier upgrade drops, such as shaping the world, impact the level of blighted map drops? I assume they don't since you can get yellow tier blighted maps with all four voidstones.

Should I do my atlas tree for strongboxes and blights ? Or would that be to long of a map lol
I cant say if it would or would not be too long of a map. I do know that strongboxes greatly benefit from scarabs. There is a world were you can fit both I believe
What are some good meta builds that good at blight? I heard some ignite proliferation or some bleed

@@rotony1 anything with proliferations/corpse explosions. I'm rocking Archmage Ice Nova of Frostbolts. No explosions, but the AOE feels good. Not quite into t16s blighted maps yet but I'm sure I'll scale up eventually.

You mentioned flipping oils into crimson(red) and selling red and above oils, how do I go about flipping oils ? got any video on that ?
sell 3 oils of same type or if u have a blight stash tab u can press upgrade button on bottom of tab

using the currency market is way to expensive on the gold tbh, i can barely sustain my town let alone upgrade my stuff...i wont see much use to it other than selling small one time things like oils
I mean, gold is only a problem because it's day 4. You get exponentially more gold in t16s and you can only upgrade your town so far. Don't waste tons of gold on map runners
@@kylebusc3624 yea I stopped map runners they just waste gold but I think just a little more like 10% increase to gold quant wouldn’t hurt the game I think
this guys says this guide is for beginners but bro beginners don't know how to use oils, upgrade map quality or what lanes are. this is for advanced players
The game teaches you all this prior to maps. You encounter blight actually in act 3 now and it walks you through everything. If you made it to maps you have more then a basic understanding of what to expect
Noob guide huh? How do you even get the maps and do you need item quantity/ explicit mods ? I ran like 6 blights with my essences and did even see any loot past like a 20 stack of wisdom scrolls:)
I have plenty of videos on how to setup the atlas to drop your own blighted maps. You can also buy them off trade. As far as the maps go, you can chisel/alch/anoint and then corrupt them as explained in this video. This video walks you through how to complete them. If you have more questions or there is something you dont understand you can ask.
Hey Travic, big fan of blight and watched alot of your videos. On your Atlas Strat video you didnt take Blightspawn, is there a reason why you didnt?
Thanks! Its because it was designed for day 1 before I had gear. Now that I am able to do it I have all the blight nodes. Theres a new video coming out in like 5 hours actually about the atlas.
I have yet to find anyone who can explain with great detail how blight works. This video failed. There are so many questions just have still as a new player. You said the bottom bar represents each lane and it glows but it’s a single bar how do I know which lane is immune to what based on that single bar?
The lanes night up yellow when they turn on and to know which lane is immune to which required you to pay attention to the lightning up. You can also follow the lanes to the portal and it shows you on the portal. You are more than welcome to ask more questions about what confuses you.

t16 normal maps are good enough to farm blight? do i have to farm blighted maps?
Are there any settings to adjust to help my frames? I get literally 3 frames a second toward the end of the map.
I swapped from dx11 to Vulcan and it fixed my horrible frame rate!

Im trying to understand how to do mods like “monster action cannot be modified or monster cannot be stunned “ as a player that just finished campain an unable to kill mobs in big packs
You can use chilling towers to freeze those specific monster. But in normal blighted maps with triple amber oils you just make a ton of towers and kill the mobs with sheer force.

Same annoints. Meteor towers leave burning ground and chilling towers stun for .2 seconds

Has blight been good for you this league so far? I just did my first blightheart scarab and got literally nothing from it. And base blighted maps dont seem to give as high of tier of oils as I used to get. Ive done like 30-40 and got one golden oil and one silver oil

@@Sdccfgv Well I resorted to the scarab cause just doing regular and blighted maps arent yielding enough to make it worth it rn. I have 3 voidstones and have been running blight the whole time and have made maybe 3 div from all the oils and maps

@@dtroy4053 you get them from cassia in maps or you buy them from trade for like 1c for 5
You should be completing cassia encounters during campaign. Starting in gardens or sewers act 3.
Then you have 8% chance to spawn cassia on further maps in campaign.
Where do we get oils?
From blight content
Any blight content or you can buy the first few ambers on trade. Once you do 1 map you will have enough oils for a lifetime

You can do cannot be stunned, just make them lvl 4.
