Ok so this is a little little tip 1. Your reins might have been a little short 2. Why are the horse so close together? (My reason because if a horse randomly stopped the horse behind it would ram into the horse infront and the horse that stopped would maybe buck) 3. At 8:01 when you where doing poles k think the poles where not spaced well enough so flower stopped because if she didn’t she might have stepped on the pole and that would cause her to slip
Just a lil tip! (Not trying to be rude any means! Just what I have learned from my years of riding!) Instead of using the crop/bat/stick on the horses shoulder, horses tend to move away from the pain/pressure that is being put on them, either from the leg, crop, or spur! So if you want the horse to go forward, give a few taps on the butt. Meaning they will move forward instead backwards trying to get away from it. And when asking for the canter, like from trot to canter, don’t post in between transitions, it will confuse the horse/s. Instead sit your trot!
i always see riding lessons where everyone is in a line and i think thats so weird bcs personally we were always yelled at if we were too close and we had to do circles to not be too close😭
OMG I used to ride here, haven't ridden here in over two years and I also remember doing work experience there, it's bringing back all the memories so thankyou! I felt this 😭It takes me back to the days where I'd be put on ponies that wouldnt move and id get really frustrated at myself for thinking im a bad rider but when i finally graduated from the stubborn ponies and got to ride the advanced horses my whole perspective changed and i enjoyed myself a lot more
I recommend dropping your crop before dismounting so you won't hit the horse in the eye and making them bolt or get spooked by it, sorry if I sounded rude.

I swear some of these ppl in the comments must either not ride horses or weren’t educated at all. The whip DOES NOT hurt the horses. You need to hit it in the right place so it wouldn’t hurt (if im correct). It is not abuse at all. Also she wasn’t “being rude to the horse” or whatever she is an amazing rider! Also the trainer is good so idk what you all are talking abt. Please do research before assuming.
The struggle with getting into canter on lazy ponies is so relatable like u keep kicking only to get an extended speedy trot💀 also how did u attach the GoPro to ur helmet??
IK FR ITS SO ANNOYING she doesn’t even have a speedy trot so it makes it even harder for canter 😭.. to attach my go pro i use a go pro strap! I put it on my helmet then put my hat silk over the top! It may look bumpy but oh well anything for good content

I ride a horse and he is LAZY he is in my pfp if you want to see him but the way I make him awake and more energetic is my instructor says that if he ever stops in a trot or canter just slap him with the whip only once and he did really well last week because I make him feel awake and my instructor said I did great so I’m really happy☺️😊
