I'm not sure if any animals react to TV or radio, but I am 100% positive that as soon as you or I calm down, our little buddies will immediately sense the energy and relax right along with us. Sometimes what I do with my guy Joey is yogic breathing. When he's laying on the bed with me and he hears me take that initial deep breath in, hold for a couple of seconds, then exhale slowly through the nose he relaxes too bcuz he's come to recognize what that signifies. Please give it a try if you're interested in either calming your cat/ dog down or you'd like them to feel comfortable enough to lay on/with you. Just start with the big breath in through the nose, hold for whatever feels right and then slowly exhale through the nose. It's that easy, just breathing, something we do both voluntarily and involuntarily (while asleep). It's an excellent beginning way to teach yourself meditative breath. You may find it hard to focus and thoughts will enter your mind w/out any conscious effort on your part, but once you notice that you've gotten caught up in a thought, just bring your attention back to your breathing. No judgement, no worries just observe the way the mind produces thoughts and remember "you are not your thoughts." Back to the breath. Before long, you'll see a calm or a sleeping little buddy and they may even come and lay their head or their entire body across yours! Sorry for the length of this, but I believe in this ancient technique. It connects us to ourselves, our families 🐈🐕🦺🐈⬛🐩, our ancestors, the earth 🌎 and the world around us. 🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏾✌️

My two cats started playing in the middle of the night and were very noisy, so I played this music. At first I didn't notice any effect at all, but after about 15 minutes my cats gradually started to calm down. In my cat's case, it didn't work at too low a volume, but it did work at a volume that the cat could hear well!
Less than 2 minutes of kneading and shes out. She can do it for hours if youd let her. But she laid down and closed her eyes ❤️ so sweet. Night night my sweet kitten meow meow.
