I always played this in an arcade in France. We went there on holiday so i always got a euro to play it. I remember spamming the kick button because i thought it was the best attack.
when I was a kid this guy was my fav character. Shame you didn't perform some of his best side-grapples (like the one where he makes a clone to help him out), but overall you did a great demo on how this character rocked and was potentially dangerous. Cheers!
I just played Yoshimitsu... and a majority of his moves are slow and easy to counter by medium/hard AI. You just have to use his most efficient moves other wise you end up continuously being pre-read and juggled. Once he hit stage 7, he just started to use a small set of quick attacks and precise, no nonsense grabs.
God, Yoshimitsu is so creepy in Tekken 3. But his win pose is even creepier. Only god knows what in the world he's saying. Sounds like he's breathing, he's possesed or something I don't know. He can even take some energy out of your health bar. Thats a way of cheating if you ask me. But hey he is still cool anyway, i just don't see he's the only one who has a weapon but everyone else doesn't. That's not fair to me.
With Yoshimitsu, you have to against AI that pre-reads attacks to cheat. It devolves into doing a lot of countering and quick attacks/grabs in the later levels because a majority of his move sets are slow enough to counter by the AI.

(down, 3+4) does his meditation and he starts to heal
(side step, 3+4, enter stance, then 1+4) can steal life if you land a lucky grab.
And absorb live, and give him live to the opponent, and make a harakiri.
