Literally been telling this to people for yearssssssss! No one wants to believe me, but here you go (love the example you showed! I use it for food photography as well. It helps to be able to choose the "sauciness" of the food and is a true weapon for so many other industries I shoot as well!

I have several CPL's that I use for landscape shots. I now have new knowledge on how to apply them for portraits. I learned some valuable info here. Thanks!

I reckon using a non locking cpl with a vnd (2 cpl) might be quite a challenge... do you have any recommendations about how to go about it? cpl or vnd in front?

Damn, that's crazy. Never thought of using CPLs to get rid of shiny skin. Makes so much sense, though

OK. Thanks for being so obvious saved me 11 minutes. Unless she's a robot its clear the with/without video is the same. So clearly its only been edited with post not seeing actual use of the filter. I guess I understand the concepts and you have to make dramatic editing since its an add.

@@prismlensfx They think the shot is the same shot, just offset by a couple seconds because her choreographed movements are so similar between the two, and thinks you achieved the look in post to dupe people. BUT, counting the number of times she blinked during the choreographed sequence, 7 on the left, and 9 on the right, plus a couple other very SLIGHT variations in movement, it's clearly not the same footage with a time offset and post prod. It is in fact, different footage, with and without the CPL.
