I bet this is something Andrew Brenner or Davey Moore would do to fix Britt's error and be more true to real life and Railway Series while mantaining Rusty and Stepney's friendship with a compromise. Problem solved.
I still have a soft spot in my heart for it, it was one of my favourite episodes growing up, and the reason that Rusty is my favourite diesel and narrow gauge engine.
It may not have the same atmosphere as the TV version, but it’s definitely a story that would fit very well in the Railway Series, as far as I’m concerned.
This is what the season 4 episode should have been. None of that traveling to the Mainland on narrow gauge track nonsense. The Bluebell Line on Sodor doesn’t exist either.

I wished that Rev. W Awdry could've thought of adding a story like that to the "Stepney The Bluebell Engine" book from the Railway Series.
I like how this is a more realistic take on Rusty To The Rescue and it’s pretty cool how Rusty met with Mr Holden himself

This is my second favorite fan adaptation of this story now. Really well done and feels like a genuine season 4 story!
This was a wonderful adaptation! I love how this rewrite combines the RWS and TVS story
This is one of the best rewrites I’ve ever seen!
“Many people came to the fun fair and had lots of fun” 💀
what?

@@MRCSANY well

That is a Amazing Rewrite Adaptation, I Enjoyed This.
Great video, I really like how you remade the episode. Also extra kudos for putting captions! I don't usually need them but I like having them.
This is way more accurate than that Season 4 episode.

@@AndrewHager02 And CGI series if Andrew Brenner had thought of it.
@@ciarangleeson2880 Both he and Rheneas are one of my favorites. The Gallant Old Engine proves why.
As much as I love the original episode, I think this rewrite is much better because it remains more faithful to the RWS material.
And real life.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 That too.
@@ThomasLover-fr8nh Since the books feature real life stuff and stays true to them like Stepney and the Bluebell Railway.
I wish the tv series did this instead of the original one, this is amazing 🤩🤩
Amazing adaptation of the original story
This is how the episode should have been done
Interesting work around the original story 👍
Nice video mate, very good story. 👍🏻

Is intro of this video a nod to Project Tiger Moth's Episode that came out recently? :) :D

Just a line passing the Depot and Great Waterton.
Does this took place before Special Funnel?
One question, can I have a link to the intro music?
Why was the episode controversial
