I was so intrigued by this piece of art. Once again, I could not figure out how you were putting it together. I love that about your art. You kept bringing out more and more items and well, what can I say. You blew it out of the park. You started out with one of my favorite stamp sets, creative blocks. Those flowers are wonderful. I love it. All the detail, glossy accents.
Dear Francine ♥️ Can I just say how much I aprichiate you, your attention to details and your kind words ♥️🙏♥️ When I saw TH live with these stamps I did'nt really fall for the Creative Blocks but when inspiration started to be posted on the release I wanted the blocks the most 😊 I am so happy you like this canvas because I had so much fun making it. Glossy accents is such an amazing medium to work with, especially when I have the same colors thru out, because then I need different textures. Wow… there is SO much to say about this amazing piece of art! So many elements working together in this grand canvas… loved watching the colors flow especially in those lovely florals. I have the Inspector stamp set in my shopping cart but haven’t finalized my order yet. I’ve had the floral trim stamp set in and out of the cart countless times but have a variety of floral spray stamps so it’s on the back burner for now. I hadn’t thought much about those tiles but after seeing you use them, I’ll put that set back on my list to eventually get. The colors and techniques you chose worked so well together. It will be a fun piece to adorn your craft room wall… or… any wall depending on your decor. I have been thinking about steampunk/grime/grunge for a while but haven’t done anything lately with it… love all those gears! I’ve been playing electronic games more than crafting the last couple of weeks… my creative mojo in on vacation LOL… I’ll let you know when I’m inspired to play again… hopefully with paint… All is well… hope you and yours enjoy / enjoyed celebrating Mother’s Day if you celebrate there. Its just not possible to force it (in my own experience at least 😊). I am so happy you like the canvas 🥳 Thank you for your kind and uplifting words ♥️ Sometimes I think I should aim for a big canvas and then it might turne in to a card.LOL. I am a bit obsessed with the effortles wet on wet coloring at the moment because, like you, I enjoy to see the colors just do their own things. I also enjoyed the vibrant re-inkers. I have'nt really used them this way before. Like you I did'nt really see the potential in the Creative Blocks stampsets and was only going to go for The Inspector. But when I started seing other crafters use them I was inspired 😊 I did get my first Stamperia collections resently so thats on my mind for the future. But I know better then trying to control my creativity so Im not sure when those suplies will become a project.
