This was a wonderful drive! So, green and all those fences! Guess it’s a lot of horses here🐴! Thank’s so much for taking us with you on this lovely trip😃! TC!👋
So beautiful! I used to commute from frederick md to dc for work which is 60 milesish each way but i found a back road from frederick to potomac that looked just like this. I used to love that drive. Well at least that half of the drive 😅
Watching from Pakistan ❤ love this place 😮 I wish that I can live there and have a 1 of those farm's ❤ you make my day thanks for uploading this video ❤❤❤❤
I don’t - but I recommend a few of the following - drive from Frankfort to Midway on back roads, then from midway to Lexington on back road (not interstate). Drive from Keeneland to Kentucky horse park on back roads, then to the Windy Corner cafe on back roads and back to Lexington on back roads (just not interstate)
Hi from Ukraine ! I love USa very much, I hope to travel there one day. Tell me please , is there a winter in Kentucky with a snow? May be someone lives in LExington ,tell about your city - how comfortable is it? Is there a public transport in there?
You can see more Lexington videos here on the channel. Yes - we do have a winter in Kentucky and it snows just about every year - but usually not more than 2-6 inches per snowfall
Born and raised there 👋🏻 There are buses, but they’re not good and the locations of many bus stops are not convenient due to zoning laws. For many, if you don’t have a car you can’t go anywhere easily. There are no commuter trains either. It’s beautiful all year round and we do get snow in the winters, but every few years we c a get ice storms. Overall it’s a safe place and it was ranked 23 in Forbes list of “Top 25 Cities That Offer the Highest Quality of Life.” If my memory serves me right, this isn’t the first time it has been in that list. But, it can be pretty boring at times since you have to drive everywhere and there isn’t too much to do for teenagers. But the nature is beautiful and Raven Run (a nature sanctuary) is there, Red River Gorge isn’t too far, and you can visit Cincinnati easily.
Hi Idalia! Thanks for watching. You can take MOST roads out of Lexington into the horse farms and find roads like this. That being said…my favorites are the backroads out old Frankfort Pike behind Keeneland racetrack, and over around Paris Pike and Ironworks road. These small backroads are to the north and east of Lexington.
You could have done better than to open on Man O War drive which is nothing more than a by pass around Lexington. No horses or horse farms on MAn O War. Iron Works pike, Paris Pike or Old Frankfort would have been a thousand times better. I see a couple made it into the video but maybe you should have concentrated on showing more horses.
Actually it’s fitting they see Man o’ War Blvd. (Ironically named after the greatest racehorse to come from Lexington, because they can see how it, and all the development around it, has destroyed so much of what made Fayette County such a nice place to live). It’s been unbearable to see so much destroyed over my lifetime, including the slower, more neighborly way of life, as well as its green spaces and agricultural heritage. Come visit, yes, but don’t move here, if you want to preserve what little is left of it. BTW, I think the cool old barn at the 3:50 mark is no longer there. Seems like the last time I was on Alexandria Drive I saw it got dismantled. Will have to check again to make sure, but more than likely it’s yet another victim of disappearing Lexington.
Kentucky is one of the most beautiful places on earth. My home state.
It is even more magical in person!!! Especially when the sun is low at dawn or the evening!!!!!!!

anybody else?
You’re right. It is Lexington.
What roads are these ? Amazing !!!

Actually Old Frankfort is almost directly west of Lexington.
Wowo so beautiful. Where's this exactly? Wanna visit
North and west of Lexington you will find hundreds of horse farms like this. Fairly hard to walk - easier to cycle or drive
@@ThePerfectWalk thank you man loved the video
Wish you would have turned the camera so we could have seen actual footage of the pasture and land! Not just the road!
Sorry it's a Dashcam and I'm driving :)
Which road is this can u tell me exact name
I was on a lot of roads in this video - the main road and the one in the thumbnail is old Frankfort pike to the west of Lexington.
Big money,, some of them have in the millions just in the fencing.
It’s because those are racehorse breeding farms, not residences.
I guess you've never been to New England
I’ve been.
What name is film’s city ?
Lexington, Kentucky
Seen better views in Colorado. Kentucky still beautiful tho
Yes - I think Colorado is more spectacular. I think Kentucky is prettier. But both are great!
California has so many areas that looks just like this in the central coast and a way nicer drives on the coast.
Yeah,, but California sucks anymore!!

Nice video man. Was mostly horse farms. Fayette county is filled with them. Doesn't matter what part you filmed.

Never compare the United States with the UK
Exactly! That’s partly why the Scots-Irish and English settled here. It was like home!🙂
