There is a popular term in Tagalog "pusakal" which means "pusang kalye" or a street cat which is normal in any urban streets of Manila or "Munti" *it's a place. He's using himself and cat as metaphor on how such a pusakal became a "Goat" - greatest of all time". And the amulet which is binded with miracles or "luck" is also a popular thing in PH "Anting-anting" because it seems way too impossible to think that a pusakal could turn into a goat without any luck.
