Port of Tacoma Police asked me if I was doing studies seeing all my equipment. :) Aparently there is invassive snails being studided in there hence why everying is blocked off. They didnt care if we fly there but did not want me driving around in there potentally contaminating other areas with those things sticking to the tires.. Great spot for test flights!:)
That day we had the DJI system linked up. V2 Googles & remote off the 03 air unit. Semse than I found one of the dji antennas may have been broken. When that setup looses video connection so does the controller. Startled me when that happened not very far away and the drone was upside down when video came back on. failsfe did not kick in. So to prevent that. Currantly its upgraded with DJI Googgles 3, Radiomaster RP4TD ExpressLRS 2.4GHz True Diversity Receiver and the Ranger ELRS Module on a Zorro Max Radio Controller. Ordered a Bandit BR3 ExpressLRS 915MHz Receiver & RF Module but running the 2.4GHz till that shows up:)
@@FPVJohn I have not found its limit on range yet. Been kinda scared honestly! lol I Found out on accedent luckily over that feild when a li-po goes to low it says "Land Now!" pretty much drops out the sky with little to no warning or control! Different story with the lighium palimers. So been Going farther each flight taking baby steps learning the limits of my battery choices. Performed the 2 watt settings mod to be avlilable. Yeah I really like the new googles. Cristal clear and bright. Dig how they fit as well. Burned a half dosen packs of batterys from my old DJI FPV racers today and the old goggles look so blury comoared to those! lol A Dark lithium 9000mah Li-Ion is my bigest battery that I hope to get 5 - 8 miles ramge with. If video drops Ill throttle up and return to home still having control.. Learning & working up to that:)
@@FPVJohn No I think we were more focused on the battery voltage suck with the li-on battery choices. Looking at other flights I would guess it was not much over 3000ma for small bursts. The highest C rating battery I have is a Fullsend 5600mAh 95C that feels the punchiest. Would like to try a good 6S li-po 150C! :)
@@The-Lower-Sector yeah nice. My frame kit is on its way. Just waiting on a few parts and I can build it. I've heard a few people say the battery needs to be fairly far back.

We fixed that sense by adding aftermarket arms and placing the battery farther back.
