I've been following your podcasts for a while now, but I've never really commented earlier because I guess the you the creators don't really read these. But I am sincerely hoping this one reaches you. So I believe, you three men doing this podcast and the others who are absent today claim to be intellectuals and liberals and feminists for the most part, at least that's what I think, but for once in this video you guys couldn't add a female perspective??? While I don't expect three men to understand what women (of all age and socio-economic class) go through during this festival, but touching that aspect wouldn't hurt no body. "Bura na mano holi hai" for years has been an amazing defense mechanism for men to touch, grope and molest women during this festival. It is sick that it happens but it's true, go ask any female friends you know and maybe they'll try to answer Kautuk's question of "Your worst Holi memory". Irrespective of the fact that I live in a upper middle class apartment complex in Mumbai where one might think it's somewhat a protected environment to play Holi, I have heard and witnessed some of the most uncomfortable moments that females have had to go through. While I understand your videos are to be made in a positive and fun way so that people watching can enjoy them, sparing a minute or two on this topic and addressing your fans and followers would have truly been great. Karan ended the video by saying ""whoever throws a water balloon from the terrace go fuck yourselves" but maybe it should've been "whoever finds this festival as an excuse to do things to women your otherwise wouldn't be able to, please go fuck fuck yourselves". For example, when I was living in Delhi, I was at the train station waiting at the booth to buy a ticket and the guy standing behind me had conjoined himself to my body. I just understood it as there is no understood rule about personal space. Something along the lines of this, I feel would be interesting. Don't know if this is turn out to be funny, but would love to hear your take.
