I have the Halo pro which has front and back. it's decent but it's 2K. The power connector is a fiddly screw in type. That would be the best camera for you unless you wanted to buy 2 of them. You don't really need a dashcam for the rear. you are not at fault if someone hits you from behind anyway. I am thinking of getting one of these so that I can use one of the many USB-C ports my car has. But I have used my Halo Pro as a DIY CCTV and it's been okay but the wifi is starting to fail.
Do the car built-in USB-C ports stay active when car is off, parked, and locked? I think one of the benfit of this model is 'parking timelaps' which may require accessory and battery power, which can only be found from the fuse-box. just curious.@@petecoventry6858
Can you turn off the auto download videos to phone option? If it downloads 4k videos to your phone all the time i will have no space left on my phone in no time
@@Imspir3 Thanks for that. Mine just arrived today. What is the "static sticker" for though? The instructions say to stick the dash cam to the sticker and the sticker to the window which makes no sense to me. In your video you have the sticker in front of the camera lens?
Hi, you can try the setting at 5:39. I wouldn't turn it off to be honest, as it's an important feature. However, you can adjust the G sensor sensitivity to low if you think it's taking too many shots.
Thank you for sharing this information, I appreciate it.
Does this dash cam get parking mode?
Does it record when ignition is off?
It will record when there is a bump and 30s before it.
Would I need to purchase two as the second one for the rear? They don't sell them both front and back together
I don't know, to be honest. When I bought mine, there was only the front camera.
You would

Can you extend the recording time by lowering the resolution of the camera?
If you watch the video, you would have seen that you select the resolution 😉

There is an option to toggle the auto down snapshot if that's what you're referring to.

Hi, was the Halfords fitting nice and tidy was there any problems, thanks
Hi, it's still working fine for me up until now. So, it's safe to assume all okay.
I'm struggling with parking mode in my bmw. Halfords installed it and are confused with it.
How much did it cost with the hardwire kit including fitting ?
Hi, I paid £210 all in.
@@Imspir3 good price. Thanks for the reply. Would you recommend it.
@@Imspir3 now £199.99 + £50 fit at Halfords 😢😢
Do you now how to turn of setting where it takes photos when you go over speed bump or any sort of bump or that

The G sensor is just for speed bumps or if a car or a person bumps your car?
Can you take of the speed monitor
Yes you can
Do you have to be in the car or near the camera to down load. Or can you view it remotely like from far away. Daft question I’m think ing not 😊
You'll have to connect to the camera own WiFi to access the files unfortunately.
