I’ve been praying for your family since you shared your new family adventure. We traveled and lived in a 5th wheel many years ago traveling with my husband for his job back when we were only a family of 3. Now a family of 6, I can’t even imagine it. Lol! It’s good you are going into this with the attitude to be prepared for things to go wrong; because things will go wrong for sure. We’ve owned new campers and older campers; they all will have quite a bit of issues regardless of how new or old they are. 🤷🏻♀️ Looking forward to watching your family with your future adventures!! So fun (and frustrating at times) but you’ll look back and be so thankful for this time. ❤️
That is so incredibly sweet of you. Honestly, I think it is the prayers that are keeping us so calm and collected through all of this madness. It seems to be out of character for me, so it is certainly the Lord's provision! Thanks for joining us on our adventure!
I’m curious what mattress you ordered with the need for it to incline? I know we need to order one and I’m dreading it. Also, our first 6 weeks on the road was challenging as it’s such a big learning curve. Hang in there! It gets better! You’re almost to the fun part!
Thank you for the encouragement. I think we are very much looking forward to not feeling like there's always something to learn or figure out and just be able to enjoy it! Definitely a huge learning curve! As for our mattress we are giving a RVmattress.com a try. We got a 12 inch Brooklyn Wanderlust memory foam mattress from them. But we haven't gotten it yet!! They have a 120 day satisfaction guarantee so if it doesn't work, we'll just have to return it. We are really *hoping* that it will still allow us to do the incline. Fingers crossed. It's hard to find mattresses that have the short king dimensions. What have you guys used in the past?

We replaced our trailers mattress too. Slept on it one night and got rid of it after that. So uncomfortable.
Yes, that seems to be pretty typical.
