This series and Dame's performance was what he needed to prove where he was on the PG hierarchy. You might've felt that Damian Lillard was being underrated in the best pg conversation but he had yet to prove it. What happened with Westbrook is no secret. This series and Dame's performance was what he needed to prove where he was on the PG hierarchy. You might've felt that Damian Lillard was being underrated in the best pg conversation but he had yet to prove it. What happened with Westbrook is no secret. People have been criticizing him for years but are called haters for doing so. The players even knew this when they told you right before the playoffs that Westbrook was tied for most overrated.
That was a great game, all the players gave it their all and played great offense and defense on both sides, including Westbrook.
My hat goes off to the coaches, players, refs (for letting them play), fans, camera men, and the NBA for one of the best games yet, down to the last second and tied, either team could have won, and neither outplayed the other, they both gave it their all!
