Excellent video as always! I really feel there is a shortage of good videos about CDS out there. Sometimes we find something related to Dynamics or making reference to old UIs. I'm looking forward to seeing your next videos :)

Thanks!! CDS can be tough to learn since the screens are constantly changing as they morph from all Dynamics screens to a blend to a final modern interface. --Brian

Hi Brian, am taking your advice to setup dev/qa/prod environments, just wondering what "type" you would use for each of these?

Dev=Sandbox usually and the ohters would be Production. You could also use the developer environment for dev but that would give each dev their own environment, which might not be ideal for a large environment.

Yes tons of handy tips , Notice that system admin ( which I think is the same as environment admin) role in the environment for a client, seems very populated. Is there a way to stop peeps being automatically added to this. Should we all stop assigning users and instead have AAD groups to represent: env makers , users and env admins?

Hey Brian. Thank for this video. Been watching and learning from your videos. Its very helpful. I have a question about the community license. Can I create a PowerApps portal to put my apps and have external users access it? My goal is to create a portfolio website to show clients with some apps I've created.
    Thanks in advance!

Hi Jay, yes you can do that but it's not meant for production. The Portal will expire 30 days later and you'll have to drop and recreate it then. After you recreate it, it will keep all the settings and pages you created.

@@PragmaticWorks Hey Brian. Thanks for your reply. This is really helpful to know before I start making something like a portfolio.

Hi Brian, I was wondering if there was a way to use an app in a Test Environment without affecting/impacting live data in SharePoint? If that makes sense.
    Thanks

Ideally, you would want to have a test SharePoint list and complete stack.
