It is possible to make a love story in which there is a great deal of sex and kissing. The thing is it's often used to replace the acting out in to displaying the subcontext they have out on display here. The actors and directors are often of the opinion since they have explicit context they don't need this subcontext. They're wrong.

why did I now noticed that the one who gave gold piece to that story teller is NIE HUISANG ? ahhh I'm watching this for the 3rd time..1st was freely watched with it..2nd focused on dialogues more I think. Now I notice many hints from the beginning..This script is so intelligently made..Every time I think of it i can't help saying that...story is superb too but making it into a script and doing a drama without boredome is really done by one who made this script..wow.. I never felt this way for a drama in any other chinese drama..there won't be too ..this is that much perfectly made.. that's why we cant get over ..Through that great script, and these amazing actors who portraited every role amazingly did their job.. love all of them.. directors,crew, stunt teams, makeup artists, digital CGI workers..all did great.. out put is 100% best of best ever!!!! no doubt it will be forever.. I bet china will never have like this creation again..

The difference about The Untamed from other BL dramas is that They taught us about the real world we are living. A judgemental society full of greed, selfishness and jealousy. But There are also people out there with good heart and intentions..All of the actors did a great job, and they made all the characters in the novel alive.Even the villains made a great impact to all the viewers. .
CQL focuses not only the relationship between the leads, but other characters and the overall frame. It's so relatable, mob mentality is a huge problem ever since the dawn of time. There is no dead set villain character, everyone has an understandable back story. The soundtrack is extremely beautiful and makes you feel like there's a whole world to travel and see.
Every series are different not the untamed only teach that and their might be some things it didn't teach and other does x) every series is différents and have their own feeling, teaching to us

Its my first comment on any drama. I watched this series in feb 2023 and here I am rewatching it again. There is something about this series that makes you keep coming back. Maybe it's the undying love between lan zhan and wei ying, maybe its wei ying's persistence to stay kind even though the whole world wronged him, maybe its lan zhan's trust in wei ying despite having to go against his clan's rules, maybe its the heartbreaking story of each and every character.. you cannot just watch it one time and be satisfied with it. It is one of a kind and I don't think any other drama would ever be able to recreate the magic and emotions of The Untamed ❤

So true... The feeling I had after finishing The Untamed is the exact same feeling I had when I finished Nirvana in Fire. Both of these series just destroyed me and all I wanted to do when I finished them was rewatch the series again and again. These are two of my favorite series in any language ever, and I will probably never, ever be ready to let go of Wei Wuxian and Mei Changsu.

our country's film production is really bad, even in serious scenes, the dubbing ruins it all(cringe). the scenes are also fake and the acting is mediocre. tbh they are very bad in my country so people here all watch hindi, chinese, korean, pakistani dramas. i think korean dramas are the best in the aspects i mentioned, the storyline is nice too.

I mostly watch Chinese Dramas because little bit understanding of few words makes it easy to watch also the rooted great family values which is unable to be seen in Hollywood movies these days total remakes of novels and old movies only, in Chinese drama you get to see different stories Everytime few Japanese dramas I have watched also my mother language is Urdu also like Urdu dramas but mostly Chinese🙏🥰

I remember how everyone was talking about this and I said let's watch it and I clicked ep 1 and said I wasnt going to watch it cause I thought it's your typical Chinese story with long hair and martial arts. Fast forward some weeks and I said i'll give it a try cause everyone's talking about it...AGAIN. And I did, first eps was rough cause I didnt get it but as it went on I fell...HARD. I watched it every time I got and at eps 50 I didnt want it to end. I cried when it was revealed that the golden core the brother had had been tranfered (my memory is shit so the names are gone). I rewatched it from eps 19 a week after I completed the series...that was last year.
And today I'm here thinking of rewatching to make the 2024 count lol.
LOVE The Untamed.
Still THE BEST out there.
100% recommend it to anyone.

@@joelinalilli8240 Due to Chinese censorship laws they do not (though in the book, yes)... however, where this show REALLY shines is in all the clever ways it works around censorship laws (obeying the letter of the law, but certainly not the spirit of it) to show *very* clearly that this is indeed a love story.

Every time I rewatch this series I find something new that give more meaning to storyline. This is kinda drama you can rewatch so many times without getting tired. It was refreshing. ❤
