I don't care how old this is...everything she says is still so true. My mom allowed me to listen to her music when I was like, 9, because she was, and still is, an amazing person and role model. Now I care more about her music, her lyrics, her messages. But still, the fact that she is so down to earth is amazing!
One thing I've noticed about her in interviews is that she can always come up with something smart to say. I understand what she's saying about country, too. It's not just about girls or guys. It's about life from the house you grew up in to your last dying breath--your experiences, your dreams, your feelings on almost every topic imaginable.
This is why you have to be nice to ppl. She says she was never popular in high school. If those students were nice to her, they would have been friends with Taylor Swift by now! Be nice to people if they're good people no matter who they are and what they do for a living.
She's just purely amazing. She seems tired in this interview though. I can't wait for this next album..its totally going to be better than Fearless!!!!

Every parent fears their kid doing something ignorant and getting themselves killed, injured, or incarcerated. Just the worries come out because there's a million things you want to tell them but no matter how much you tell them it's never enough to satisfy your concerns. Parents hold you up as a role model because it's easier to say look at Taylor and let that shape behavior. They want to keep their kids safe and you help them do it.
They're your subjects Taylor. Their fear is they don't have legal rights, but you're definitely their boss - they might as well be talking to a judge in court when they speak with you. I'm using you to tease out these things. I learn a lot from these interviews.
Ive been smoking and drinking since the womb. Yes my mom did and i was 2 weeks late with birth defects. Had to wear corrective leg braces when i sleep and my soft spot took a little longer then normal to harden. Plus i have two co-existing autoimmune disorders. Im ok about it. Its my challenge in life. I will die of old age not b.s. haha.
