I didn't get props team because my ex (who also applied) said that she couldn't work with me. I've been both a theater kid and tech kid. Literally put in like 60 hours one year in after and before school time putting together sets and working on lighting arrangements. Theater sounded like less of a nightmare until I got casted in Rent. Never again.
3:56 and some dont have dressing rooms. in each show ive been in, weve had the two dressing rooms one for guys on for girls, a big downstairs for everyone with a singular curtain to change behind in the dirty nook, an outdoor performance where you change at home, and one where the boys had to change in a tent or on the deck covered with what im pretty sure was tarps for privacy, while the girls got the overcrowded costume storage room.

Story time even though no one asked Once I did a performance of Fantastic Mr Fox when I was young (I had a supporting role) and after what I thought was a good show, my aunt and uncle were congratulating me but my mum looked kinda disgusted right after it finished and proceeded to tell me what she didn't like so that boosted my self esteem :D

I don't have social media like SC or TikTok etc. so I too was excluded from the group chat, it was a little annoying because they created a lot of stuff that wasn't communicated with me but I didn't let it bring me down and make me feel left out, just talk to them and be yourself! I loved being in the musical though, I plan on doing the upcoming musical/musicals. I'm sure you're very talented, just be glad you even got into the show because it's really the experience that matters. I do understand your anger in being excluded from the group chat, that's dumb, just because you're ensemble doesn't mean you should be left out!

I'm trying many methods of escapism, and none of them are working! Sorry for ranting, I'm just mildly perturbed.
