Super heavy can lift 140000 lbs or
63500 kg divide that by 36=
    10000 kg per pole
    Tungsten density is 19.3e6 kg/m^3
If they use 0.5 m^3 per rod
    Sqrt(0.5/3pi)=0.23 m radius
    0.5/(.15^2×pi)=7 m long
    Tungsten is 19250 kg / m^3
0.5 m^3 is 9624 kg. Yep. It would fit.

Within the entire span of my lifetime (born '59) I have witnessed the most awesome achievement of mankind, and the pinnacle may still have not been reached. The whole space industry still fascinates me to this day. 🚀

Was spectacular from Zephyrhills through binoculars. Wish I could hear the sonic booms from the 2 side boosters landing. But I guess I’m just too far away.

I want to repeat the sentiment by @Raydio6 about always being blown away by these flights. But, I want to add, the landing of these side boosters, with the precision, accuracy and delicate grace, is surreal. Both of my uncles retired from NASA with the Apollo program and one is still alive today. They don't have the words to describe how it feels, or what it's like to comprehend these landings...

Congratulations to the scientists, engineers, production, and quality teams. As another commenter said, what we are seeing today feels normal and common now. But the complexity of doing this is unreal and nearly perfect each time. It is truly a fantastic site, it's jaw-dropping awesome!

Помню как все русские блогеры и издания комментировали посадки первых ступеней "Фалкон-9" несколько лет назад. Они все уверяли что это красивая анимация, компютерная графика.
Ну и где они сейчас эти знатоки?

we need to put a volcano on the moon that needs to be our top priority Can Earth survive without volcanoes?
This water vapor then condensed in our atmosphere and fell as rain. It rained for so long that eventually, our dry, barren Earth turned into a Blue Planet. 'Water that we see on Earth mostly comes from volcanoes. Without volcanoes, there wouldn't be life on Earth, literally

How much fuel do the side boosters have after BECO? Why noth catching them at sea because they have to completely fly back to their starting position while a normal F9 launch they catch him at sea so it doesn't need to spent a lot of fuel on flying back. The core base was expendable but only because they need all fuel what was left over. If they catch the boosters at sea maybe they can propell the F heavy longer so also the center core can be saved. Carrie the boosters back cost the heavy a certain % of good performance.

The great government protection racket. Just like the mafia. Governments force their citizens to pay up to defend against other ...., wait for it,......"Governments". Maybe instead of the UN, and WEF, we need to rethink governments who only KILLED/Starved to Death over 100 MILLION of their own people in just the 20th century.

This company is truly the definition of cutting edge. I hope they speak of how this company revolutionized space travel and was responsible for the Mars colony and moon colony and beyond. Especially if SpaceX can integrate the new fusion powered Engines in 5-10 years that NASA are currently testing into the Starship/Booster vehicle. Fusion power would get us to Mars in 45 days rather than 8 monthes. That's huge. I pray for continued success of this company. God wants man to expand and explore all that is. Not remain shackled to this planet.

Man, I can't imagine people 100's of years from now seeing this as a black and white television. It's so cool to see right now. Go Elon Musk! Stepping stones is how we get anywhere, so I like the direction. It's kinda scary how open/vulnerable we are to the physical aspects of earth and space. Time is an animal we can't control either. Yet......... You have to start somewhere!

I'm dumb. Why at around 12km to 1km the side boosters are dramatically losing speed while the motors aren't burning?
They have that much aerodynamic drag on them that they can do that??
    I'm honestly just curious 🤙

These folks have mastered the craft of rocket science and continue to break it’s envelope: efficient, reuseable, lowest cost, advanced avionics, and consistently impecable take offs, entry, reentry, and sticking the landings within inch tolerances
In addition, they have figured out how to capture this complex process in a simple and relate-able “real time” way for the masses…think of all the kids that watch this and begin to dream
Now compare this to Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic which have still yet to enter orbit
