The cool sound was Ray M on keyboard. An iconic singer, group to me one of the greatest songs ever. Many very good songs in their catalog. Light my Fire & Hello I Love You two of my favorites
YEEEES!!! More the doors man! love your reactions, they have a lot of good songs and you could upload some reactions of them live, they were the real deal
Happy almost birthday. (grin) My Mom was born in December too and she made Dad promise before they married one another that he would never give her the *same present for both Christmas and her birthday.* She wanted two individual presents just like everybody else. :D
Omgosh, THE DOORS. I couldn't appreciate them until I reached 50!! My favorite along with Prince. Genius. And Jim was like my husband--beautiful when lean, fat when fat. Sorry, big ppl, we've yo-yoed for 42 years. I'm now 60, 135 5'2". FIve years ago I was 112. No fat prejudice here. Just my fact.
Cool. Keyboard solo! It's a harpsichord or an organ set to sound like one. Believe it or not, The Doors scared a lot of uptight people back in the sixties. The cops tried to arrest Jim Morrison in the middle of a concert once and it caused a riot. He sings about it in "Peace Frog". The music The Doors made always carried a touch of darkness, of dangerousness, and that held great appeal to outcasts, misfits, and troublemakers. So when you say that "people who listen to music like this don't look for trouble with anyone," it seems the somewhat diplomatic response might be, yes, not anymore, but only because they've grown too old! 😆
🎊 You don’t have to apologize. The fact that you can come up with a musical joke (“Ramble On”) means OUR music is leaving a mark…hopefully, when you’re done with the 60’s & 70’s, those scars will be PERMANENT‼️ You’re doing a fine job.
Robby played the guitar with the neck of a pop bottle, if I'm not mistaken. And no bass guitar. A carnival quality. Just unique as hell. And I believe they were all classical musicians except Jim. Correct me.
They did not have a basis, they only had a keyboard is, who also did the base music as well, and that weird sound was the keyboard on like a different tune kind of like the munsters or something like that
The coolest band in rock history. When the Gods of Rock party, The Doors are the house band!
The doors were very innovative and talented! Thanks for this review!

I would like to recommend Touch Me Live version
This song is about the young draftee's saying goodbye to their girl friends before they go off to fight the war in Vietnam .
Manzarek played several types of keyboards but actually used a harpsichord on this one.

The sounds you hear on the guitar that you're trying to explain are called trills
Nice Ace! Mines the 11th. I hit 50....ugh. But here's to us Sags! You, me and Jim...Slainte! ☘️
Happy Birthday in advance Brandon.😁😁😁
@@AceTheHeart to u as well 🤘

He was arrested.
Happy Birthday Ace✌️
Indian summer for moody slow burner. Peace frog for funky chunky track 😁
Love that you are listening to a lot of The Doors. It's all great. Listen to the song The Soft Parade.
Happy birthday today(it's the 12th). Another unique sounding Doors song is Moonlight Drive, also try L.A. Woman
Thank you so much Diane😁😁. I already did L.A woman. I will add Moonlight Drive to the list.

Great commentary, love the clichés, fab songs like End of the Night and Queen of the Highway are not that well known, really worth checking.
The Doors were a good band for albums. Track after track might not have been a hit, but was good, and in modern terms: playlist worthy.
I recommend EVERY SONG.

Today's the 12th...happy birthday!
Thank you so much Steve. 😁😁😁
Have you done, "Don't You Love Her Madly?""
Next should be "Don't You Love Her Madly", another cynical love song, with great music and lyrics.
Hey Ace!
You're so cute. 😂❤
