Hello Happy farmer good to see you and Simon again 😊 🙂 ☺️ plenty little jobs to keep you bizzy we've had some water 💧 down. See you on the next one. 🤙🦊 up the farmers 💯 🙌 👏
Afternoon Richard Never tyre of your uplifting updates You do a plumb job of filming and producing them Although I feel Simon's been mucking about with that little tractor The rubbers on the milker, are they subject to temperature changes, hot wash or the like, know rubber doesn't like too many temperature changes There's always a job to be done in your industry Thanks again for entertaining and putting up with my dad jokes lol Take care Geoff
Afternoon Geoff, Thanks for your cracking message-it’s plumb full of puns, and I wouldn't have it any other way! As for Simon, you’ve caught him red-handed. He was tinkering with that tractor. Last week, he claimed it needed a “test drive” around the field. Somehow, it ended up needing suspiciously shiny set of tyres! Now, about those milker rubbers-you're spot on. They do have to deal with all sorts of temperature changes. Between the hot washes and frosty mornings, they're working harder than Simon avoiding mucking out duties. But we keep an eye on them, as I’m not keen on surprises mid-milking! You’re right-there’s always something to do around here. But messages like yours make it all the more enjoyable. Keep those dad jokes coming-they're the cream to our farming day! Take care Cheers, Richard
Earle we have been milking on to robots for 5 years now. We did change from milking parlour it was a 5/10 fullwood. Very old. We also put the building up for the new system too. We would never go back to a milking parlour again. It’s been the best thing we have ever done 👍
@@yorkshirefarming have never seen one close milking, I just like the thought of a parlour getting close to the cows and handling them, but totally get the reason why you would use robots, and manpower is the biggest and if you are a smaller farm your not tied to being back for milking. Great set up love the videos thank you.
@ you make a very good point about being close to the cows. This was one of our concerns when making the decision. In fact we spend more time with the cows than before on the parlour. We are constantly walking through them through out the day. It has made us better cow managers than ever before. You may notice how quiet and friendly the cows are when walking through them. They are so used to seeing us all the time. They are brilliant to work with when there so calm and friendly. 👍
Another brilliant video Richard, always impressive and very informative. 👍👍
Thank you Philip. I keep trying 🤣 we are just into winter routine and it’s difficult to find content for you to watch. Thanks again Richard

Great video. How long have you had robot milkers and did you change from a parlour. Cheers.
