And of course Robert would still be leading with insight and life lessons even at the moment where he has lost almost all of his worldly possessions. A leader in so many ways. Thank you so much for the updates.
Thank you for your thoughtful update. The sign of strength of character in a person is when amidst the chaos of rebuilding of your life, you forge a teaching moment to talk about how to deal with stress in dogs when their world turns upside down. Thank you so much. Your have taken the first of many steps to recovery. Prayers from my family to yours continue to shower each of you with only blessing, love, joy, and peace.
When I went through hurricanes and flooding, I learned to be more compassionate to others. To see our neighborhood flood and people in shear panic make me more compassionate. I thought I was already a compassionate person. Not until hurricane Milton did I realize I was way off. I am still growing and leaning in to God. My heart breaks to see disaster and people broken. God loves us all and He allows such pain because the beauty is coming. Praise Him through it. God speed healing in your journey. ❤
I am so glad you and Janet and the dogs are okay and settling as best you can for the moment. I was also thinking what a blessing it is to have well-trained dogs in a situation like yours. Even if they are stressed, their training helps give them confidence to get through it and you can rely on them to be well-behaved, which enables you to manage your own stress. Your point about going easy on training is valuable information as well. Take care; wishing you both and the dogs all the best, and looking forward to the next update.
Dear God. You are resilient my friend. You really are. I am still so sorry for everything yoi and your community have lost. May all of you all find peace ❤
So glad you and Janet are safe. My niece had to evacuate. Beyond the tragedy, your life is upended. But this is temporary. The sky will return to blue, and everyone will strive to persevere. Stay as positive as you can. You’ve got this.
I love that you are so focused on dogs even with so much going on. I also have dogs and they are my life. I appreciate your love for dogs and that you love them in the right way. I’ve followed you and taken your advice and I’ll continue to follow you and be supportive from afar. Sending love from England.
I JUST stumbled across your videos researching training collars and saw this video next. Not only was your training/info video insightful with common sense and a clear explanation, but your character, honesty and sound perspective are admirable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stay strong. It is impossible for us here to appreciate the trauma you are living through. God keep you safe 🙏 🐾
Oh my goodness, Robert. I am so sorry. This is really awful. I hope your transition with your wife and dogs goes as smoothly as possible. And you continue to provide dog advice. You are a gem and treasure.
So good to see you and to know that you're coping ok. I can send you nothing from New Zealand except for love and light - to you, Janet and your precious dogs. Stay safe, lovely people. 💙🐾❤️🐾💙🐾❤️🐾
Been watching for a few months in anticipation of getting my Dutchie last November. We took him to his first IGP session this weekend with our state's only working dog club. You're only one of a few channels I watch at their recommendation. Prayers for you that you find stability.
Dear Robert, I just wanted to let you know your video helped my daughter (and me) SOOO much when her dear Yorkie died a couple of years ago. What you gave us cannot be repaid but in some small way I send my prayers of support and 🩷
Thank you for the update and what a possitive attitude you have in such a horrific situation. Praying for you all in California, love from England❤🙏❤🙏❤
I know how bent out of shape I can get when I misplace/lose ONE item. Can't imagine losing everything at once. I admire your strong attitude and giving us a lesson, even with all you are going through.
Continued prayers, stuff can be replaced, but the loss of pictures and items that have memories attached can never be replaced. May God’s loving caring hands continue to protect you and everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.
Thanks, Robert for your update. Many prayers are for all of you. It’s so hard to just watch the devastation from the east coast. I appreciate your insight on how your dogs are handling the stress and what you are doing to help them.
What a horrible event. I have been watching you for 6 years and training my dogs with your techniques. Your video feels like you are my next door neighbor. Be watching, good luck to you Janet and your pups
Material things are fading, but setting your eyes on the eternal kingdom will last eternity. What a heart break this situation is, thoughts and prayers.
What a devastating last 12 months you had yet you are giving amazing life lessons and dog Training advice. You are an amazing person and god bless you robert. Thanks for everything!
What a life lesson you are teaching us all Robert and Family! You are so right about physical objects and what we value the most. God bless and take care. I wear your Robert Cabral merchandise that I bought with such Proud! 🙏💫💪
I was training my dog yesterday and it has been a cold winter Canadian morning, so of course I wear thick winter gloves, I keep my mini Educator control in my pocket, was putting it in my pocket after a use with my gloves on and it fell out in a field of snow. Didn’t realize after I got home that I lost it. I was getting all upset, then I thought of you and all the equipment you lost and much much more. I was humbled by that. You keep being a teacher to all of us, on training and life… even at the worst time in your life. Wish you well, and good fortune going forward in all the challenges that comes after a disaster like this.
Love your wonderful positivity!! Just so happy to know your family is safe and adjusting the best you can! All your followers love y’all and we will be here to help do what we can!! Take care!!😊❤
After I was run over by a moving truck I was in and out of homelessness. I suggest setting up general delivery at the post office or a po box. I used to put the street address of the post office then on the next line put the pound sign then the box number or general delivery, because some places don't deliver to a po box but they would ship if I listed it that way. Praying for you!
From the UK. Good to hear that you have survived the fire. Did not know you were in the fire area. Hope you are able to get yourself sorted in new housing in time
Glad you are alright. It is so very heartbreaking on so many levels. So sad for the humans, and also the domestic and wild animals. Prayers, prayers, and more prayers...
Having been through Florida hurricanes since 1977, I can say you have an amazing grace about you. Always enjoyed watching your channel for your professional advice. Now I think you can add very gracious words of wisdom. God speed to you and everyone suffering thru this disaster.
I know you have had to endure emotionally far more than what the fires wrought and I am very glad to know you and Janet and the pups got out safely. Life is more important than things. Please take care of you and yours. Sending love and well wishes. ❤🌻❤️🌻
HELLO, WOW SUPER"NEW'S YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE "FEELING WELL"" AND YOUR DOGGIE'S 🙏🙏🙏So next You would have a lot of Work to train maybe these traumatized poor" lost" Doggie's without a lovely home or their family. Many lovely Greetings from the very cold Germany today Martina Daniela y Bijou 🐾🐾 Many Prayers for all there 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.....
I am so very sorry for your loss and the rest of those poor people in Southern Cal. Thank God that you, your wife and puppers are safe. Stay safe and stay strong, we are with you in our hearts.
Glad to see you and your family have found somewhere safe away from looters and a roof over your head. Also, I’m glad to see your spirit has somewhat improved. Stay safe and god bless
I’m hearing you on getting rid of loads of junk and not needing a lot of stuff. I’m in the process of packing to sell and after hearing of your situation and all the thousands of others at this time over there, its making me rethink whats important before I just shove something in a box. My daughter and I have five cats, two WLGSD and a little Jack Russell plus birds in our tiny old weatherboard clad house. I know I would just have seconds and there is nothing more important to me than getting my daughter and animals out. My heart goes out to you all. Sending love from Australia. ❤
Thank you for the update. God bless your family. I look to your sharing how your pets adjust to disaster and sudden change in life, home, having to generalize what they have been learning and then suddenly to a whole new environment.
I almost ended up homeless because I was going to be foreclosed on. Partially my fault, my dogs didn't know and did not care. They would have lived in the woods with me.. i just needed two leashes.
❤❤❤ sending much love to you all! You're in our prayers 🙏🙏🙏 maybe it's a good time to visit another location. things might break down out there! May God bless you and keep you may make his face to shine upon you and give you his peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️
God bless you and your family. Thanks for the updates. It puts into perspective how these fires and the displacements it has caused so many people and animals effects real lives. Here on the East coast it feels disconnected, turn off the news and move on to what’s for supper, what homework do we have to tackle etc. never mind things like clean underwear and finding a new place to call home. Looking forward to watching your story unfold as you build back.
So glad you're all doing OK! It's going to be a long term recovery. We, here in Florida, have been through this sort of thing. There will be a time when this is over. We are all sending you guys love and hope. Let us help when we can. We are sending help to organizations that are there to help you all! Love and hope!
Thanks for the update and I'm so relieved to hear you are in a hotel and that Janet and the dogs are all ok. I might be slightly off in the timeframe but I was thinking about your situation last night and how you lost Maya, your dear mother, Goofy, and now your home and most of your possessions. Just unfathomable. Yet here you are, still standing, still able to function, to train your dog, make a video, think about others, oddly liberated from the world of 'stuff', and it just so awe-inspiring. I wish you great strength and an unending flow of grace as you navigate this totally unknown situation and rebuild. Schmuley is living up to his name and he is the kind of messenger from a higher power I would want in my life at a time like this. He's got you! Sending strength and grace from the UK. ♥💪🙏
God bless, Robert. You and your family are okay and that's the most important thing. Although I know this is very traumatic, I'm glad you are in a good place mentally and financially. Best of luck!
I'm so glad you both and your beautiful dogs are all safe. I am really sorry this happened to ye. Praying for ye and all the people suffering at the moment. Sending hugs and prayers from Ireland.
