Same thing happened to Arno (I think it was) a few episodes ago. They do it all the time actually. People are constantly getting seriously injured and then are just totally fine in the next scene. None of this makes any sense.

Worst episode of the soft reboot by faaaar. It could have been so good, I am impressed as to how they managed to waste Alicia's sendoff. When I realized the whole episode was going to be Alicia's back and forth to the tower I felt so frustrated. AMC needs to replace Chambliss and Goldberg.
Compared to this seasons storyline, the whole Althea 'tell me your story' plot feels like emmy nominated writing 😂
No surprise that Chambliss and Goldberg wrote this episode as well. I can't believe AMC have sat back and watched them destroy this show for 4 years. I have no idea how they are still employed.
Imagine how impactful the season could’ve been if Alicia had used the transmitter at the end of Ep 8 and the rest of the season was devoted to Madison and Alicia becoming aware of each others’ existence and trying to get to each other. Madison gradually meeting our new characters along the way and helping them sabotage the tower against Strand and burn it down in a strategic way, after Alicia maybe gets bitten because of something Strand does instead of what happened in the bunker which was completely inconsequential. Throw away PADRE, throw away the hallucinations and Alicia “slowly dying from the bite”. Either have her get bitten and survive or get bitten and die. Stop trying to change the canon of whole universe. Season 8 could’ve been a really epic Madison vs Strand battle because of Strand doing something to indirectly get Alicia killed. Hire me writers.
Imagine if a showrunner came in to rewrite season 4 to pick up after the dam? God a fan can dream.🥲

Fucking hell, I knew they were going to get rid of Alicia and then bring Madison in right after. This episode was stupidly predictable, and they ruined the send-off by dragging it out, making Alicia pass out all the time and wake up in different locations, hallucinating and having visions, and constantly changing her mind about what she was going to actually do. I know the writers thought they were being clever, but it was just irritating. Things like that can work, so long as people know how to pull it off (take Rick's send off episode for comparison), but clearly the Fear writers can't and shouldn't have bothered.

I still have some issues with Rick's last episode, but overall I liked that one, and it was far better than this episode. At least Rick had some visions of past characters, instead of a fucking bird.
So Madison is back but Nick is gone , Alicia is most likely dead ( not really) and she won’t see Madison 🙄, Victor wasn’t even a villain and was forgiven, the whole tease of a war between Morgan and Strand never happened 😝, almost non existent character development for the main characters

You're so right about drawn out deaths in The Walking Dead. It took Carl so long to friggin' die from that walker bite that it sucked any drama out of it for me. The best death in the series so far has to be Hershel. Quick, dramatic, meaningful.
Oh god yeah, the Carl episode was painful to watch. 45 minutes of Carl telling Rick, "there's another way. You and Negan don't have to fight". Okay, I get it, just die already. Agree with you on Hershel, that was a brutal end to a great character. The Governor rejecting Rick's fantastic speech (Fear, take note, that's how you do dialogue) and then killing Hershel made it even better.
Also Glenn and Abe are on same level with Herschel. At least for me

This episode, so far, has 4,1/10 on IMDB, the same rating that the carol chasing the rat episode, and it will go down even more, being the worst rated episode of the franchise. I feel so bad for the actors, it's painful to watch them try to do their best, especially the ones that have been since the beginning. The 100th episode... TWD doesn't have a decent 100th episode (8x1 mercy) but it's far better than this one. I felt the same than last week, sad. Watching alicia's actress saying those lines and acting those atrocious scenes was hard. I can't believe AMC doesn't fire the showrunners. They kind of did it with gimple, and twd was much better than most of the seasons this showrunners made. It's the only way the show can be ''saved'', I mean, it's already gone but at least it could have a proper ending. I won't write everything these episode does wrong, I don't have that much time. I'm just going to say that if people think TWD is dead or did in the past, how can we call ftwd nowadays?
I 100% agree with you. I don't think the actors are happy with the material they've been given to work with and doing the best they can.
Didn't even realise this was the 100th episode. What a way to celebrate this landmark, by getting rid of one of the original cast members in such dumb fashion. It just feels like AMC don't care about Fear anymore, and have given up on it. Or, maybe they like the fact that fans hate it so much, because it gets people talking it, and actually ends up promoting the show in a weird way. I don't know, like you said it's strange that AMC recognized when TWD was going downhill and made a change, but aren't doing anything to stop Fear being destroyed.
As someone who aspires to be a paid writer one day, I like to think that authors/writers don't put out anything unless they feel it's their best work. That said- I can't imagine the FTWD writers sitting in a writing room and patting each other on the back after editing this episode. I just don't see it. They're just trolling us now.

Alicia used to be the type of girl to follow in Madison’s footsteps but eventually halfway into season 3 wanted her own independence after surrounded by all the death. That was so much better and then now it’s this bullshit. I can agree nicks death and the meaning behind it is good but it doesn’t matter considering we never saw how he struggled after the dam to be the scared person he became after being so adventurous. They already ruined Madison once in 4A so now let’s see how they continue to do it in the finale. Even then it’s like she doesn’t matter since her and her family were the staple of the show.
Yeah I loved it when at the end of S3 Alicia decided she wanted to go off on her own, and explore the world, similar to what Nick had been doing. Just think of how good the scene is when she's operating on proctor John, when her character was actually given interesting things to do. Now she spends an entire episode talking to a young verison of herself.
The funny thing is, the Tyreese death episode would still be one of if not the best episode of this season 😭😭

How could anyone on the cast & crew be happy w this utter shit or keep their self-respect? Almost anyone could write a better script. The actors that are left obv just want a paycheck. I don't want this show in the same universe as TWD. Even at it's worst, it never got THIS bad. Us fans deserve better. I just want to SCREAM!!

For the past three episodes I literally stopped watching FtWD and just wait your review. After Morgan left on the boat I started getting nose bleeds and I had to stop watching it it was making me too mad. FYI your imitations of American dialogue is priceless bro please never stop that

This episode is the definition of "Just when things couldn't get any worse...they do." This episode is the worst 100th episode I have ever seen on any show and I wanted to end my existence after I got done watching it. And honestly...that's saying a lot. 0/10
I think TWD's 100th episode was a masterclass in comparison to this abysmal 100th episode.

I gave up on this show after Morgan’s first season. It’s to ridiculous. Seasons 1-4 were cool. Then it was all downhill from there
So much bs writing this season. They have to scam Madison’s return to make you watch through their garbage story. They could’ve had Madison return sooner and at least produce a good story where she reunites with Alicia and Madison catches up on what has happened to Nick and everyone else. Instead the moment Alicia leaves, Madison returns in the finale. Of course Morgan is the one to find Madison so she gets brainwashed by Morgan. Wow this season is worse than World Beyond.
Exactly. We've known about Madison's return since the end of 7A, 7B's story should've been centred on that. Imagine a war with Alicia & Madison vs Strand, would have been so much better than what we got.
I haven't watched Fear since I started watching your channel, I had stopped originally because Fear got awful, but THANK THE CGI SPIRITUAL BIRD that you still review the "show", saves me from having to watch garbage... your reviews are 100 percent better then the last 4 seasons brother... ps. Agree 100% they are hedging because they dont want to lose the few fans still watching and in case Alycia somehow returns (and in doing so just leave any possible credibility the writing has on the floor). How do these talentless hacks still have a job?
Been asking my self that same exact question. I have no idea why AMC hasn't fired them yet. Only thing I can think of is that they were given long contracts when they joined the show, and maybe it would cost AMC a lot of money to get rid of them early?

Alicia wakes up on the beach with a face full of make up. In the previous scene she looks like death, so I don't think it makes sense for her to still be alive, but then again nothing makes sense on this show.
I'm pretty sure chambliss and Goldberg said this final scene is her "subconscious" or something like that. So I'm just interpreting it as she's dead for now, but if the writers want to bring her back they will find a way.

I thought it was meh, Only 2 things i liked is what the episode set up. Our group finally leaving. And leaving it open for Alicia to come back when the actor wants to.
Otherwise thats the only purpose i felt it had. Just a whole episode showing why she wont be on and that our groups leaving.
Actually 3 things but the 3rd is bare minimum. I like the fact that the Amina tape actually had a purpose. I always thought it was kinda weird after madison "Died" That they found the tape and just watched it. And then never brought it up again, So im glad theres some sort of use they gave it

I really enjoyed S3 & I couldn't believe when S4 came back how much they changed. I stopped watching after they "killed" Madison. I'd love to see her again, but I have zero desire to catch up.

Apparently, according to some comments, Alycia said on Instagram that she'll be back in Season 8B. Even if it isn't true, I'm sure Alicia's character will return eventually

That's what they'll tease throughout Season 8. There's no way Madison will not want to find her daughter once she finds out she's still alive. I can almost see the show runners rubbing their hands together and giggling at their "genius"
Ah really? From what I've read her 7 year contract with AMC is up, and Chambliss and Goldberg said this is the last we will see of her. Who knows? They probably will pull a Madison at some point and bring her back.

Watching Charlie slowly die to radiation poisoning is the only thing that has me excited about next season.
Even though I’m very much over with seeing these shadows of our former beloved characters in Alicia, Strand, and especially Daniel, I still feel disgusted to have seen the slow death of the core FEAR cast I’ve been invested in from the start.
Seeing the mishandled deaths of the core family from Travis to Madison (and then the retconning of it) to Alicia, and then making it ambiguous and holding off a reunion between her and Madison.
I just feel so burned out with this series, especially with how solid Season 6 was.

I saw a few reviews for the episode before I watched it and thought to myself "oh god, are they seriously gonna fuck up Alicia's last episode ", but when I watched it I actually thought it was alright, bit slow and the fainting was annoying for sure but I liked it overall. It is really shit how this had to be her last episode though, literally before Madison comes back, that was dumb as fuck.
My theory is simple. She wasn't dying from the walker virus. Her living this long basically retcons everything we've seen in the entire Walking Dead universe, and it makes sense that she got blood poisoning from you know, chopping her arm off in a tunnel full of dirt, dust, and debris.
I agree with you both Clarks should be on the show I wanted 2 see Madison n Alicia both together maybe find a place called home but we not going 2 get that I was hoping Madison was going to be Padre boy I was wrong thanks for being honest about how the story going so far great job bro

I think I have finally decided that this season was even worse than season 5. This was a great show until the soft reboot and it's such a petty because this show could and should be awesome! The writing is so bad that even the dialogue between character sems unatural and stilted. You'd think that given that the main show is going to end this year, a massive amount of effort would be put into it so that us hardcore fans would still have an awesome show. This season was marketed as "The return of Madison" but already I knew that we wouldn't see her until the final episode.
They have some great actors on FTWD and they're comepletely wasted by this terrible writing. As for Alicia and her arm and this fever - it's just a shit storyline. Everything about this show is frustrating now.
I am a spiritual person and that doesn’t make me like the episode any more haha

I'm a religious person and I thought this episode was one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life. I can understand Alycia wanting to leave this dumpster fire of a show, but this was not the way to do it. This episode was terrible. An absolute waste of time with her hallucinating the whole episode and it was complete nonsense much like this whole season. When she was saving the bird, I was literally laughing because of how stupid it was. Horrible episode, a terrible show. These showrunners have completely destroyed Fear and there is no way it can keep going. I'm officially done. Words cannont express how pissed off I am by these show runners. Thank you ADC, but I can't blame you.
I heard this was Alicia last episode I saw that going around the internet so maybe she will not meet up with Madison so did she die but it feel like this show is a bad reboot to the old show it seems like the show ended and they wanted money so they reboot it that what this show feels like to me.

This was actually the worst episode in the entire series. Worse than 4x16, 5x09, 5x15, 7x06. It’s actually unbelievable how horrible this season is and the fact there’s still one more episode is scary.

Some have said that the ending scene is some kind of dream sequence because Alicia wakes up on the beach with a face full of make up, looking much better, whereas prior to that she looked liked death. The writers have said this is their goodbye to Alicia, so I think she's dead. Doesn't make sense for her to be on the verge of death, collaspe, and then somehow recover. But I wouldn't put it past the showrunners bringing her back in the future.

I've defended a lot of episodes this season and I still like it way better than seasons 4 and 5, but this episode was boring, insulting garbage and I would rather they let Alicia reunite with Madison even if they killed her off. This episode was irredeemable garbage and the only saving grace was ADC's emotional performance.
I think this might be the breaking point even for those who have enjoyed this season. It's just such a stupid way to get rid of a character who has been on the show from the start. Also, the entire plot with the tower went nowhere. There was no war, in the end the tower just burnt down and everyone sailed away. Fantastic.

When I saw Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 13 it really reminded me of Black Summer in terms of it's out of place timeline making sense later in the episode style. It's also got some stunning set pieces I loved it personally but it's been trashed online which is crazy considering the state The Walking Dead franchise is in at the moment.

A build up to a war at the tower that never happened
I only saw clips of it but wow I must say it looked atrocious 😂 I think in this season only 2 episodes were good even with the flaws which is episode 1 and 11 and that’s basically it. Hearing you rant makes me feel so much better and it feels like I need to speak to my younger self so that my depression can be miraculously cured 🤣😂😂

I really think ADC and Colman did they best they could with the material they had. I mean how in tf can you possibly make the awful, awful, god fucking awful dialogue /not/ sound corny as shit? Everything is OOC and melodramatic and just ridiculous. There's so little anyone can do with it.
And it's sad because if you watch literally anything else in their filmography you can see they are so much better actors than the crap they're being made to do. Terrible episode, but thank god she's free of this mess, and I hope he follows her out. And Kim, oof, I hope she made them write her fat check to come back to this dumpster fire

I swear the writers love screwing with the audience. They did the same thing in Season 4 when we thought all the characters would be together, and we would see Madison interact with Morgan, but then it turned out that Madison was only in the season via some stupid flashbacks.

Definitely Fear season 7
This episode was a HOT MESS (except for the Madison moments lol). Nick's death was sad but well done. I think my issue is with who shot him. A kid? Really?! I think she'll be back in S8. I mean, they have to keep us watching and hoping that Madison & Alicia reunite. I just hope the reunion won't be an Ophelia/Daniel moment.
So the girl who shot nick is dying of radiation and ofielia is already dead
The showrunners said ADC is done so I wouldn't expect to see her in season 8.
I still hate the fact that Charlie shot Nick. I don't know why kids keep killing main characters on this show, the same thing happened with John and Dakota. But, I'd still take Alicia dying in a similar way to Nick than what we got this episode. I think Alicia returning depends on what ADC does next, I heard her 7 year contract on Fear is up. If her career really takes off, she might been done with Fear for good. Who knows. Thanks for watching :)
Alicia is dead, died on the beach. All we see is a dream in her last hours/minutes. She is evaluating everything I think the rest of the group left Alicia because she is already dead. (But then I find it's weird that they didn't bury her).

The worst thing about this whole season is that literally nothing happens. This season has no plot to move forward and did not move forward with absolutely any level of story telling.
Hey everyone, just want to clear up why I think Alicia is dead.
Alicia wakes up on the beach at the end of the episode with what looks like makeup on her face, as shown by the picture I used in the video. (5:00)
In the previous scene she looks like death, so I don't think it makes sense for her to still be alive at this point, then again nothing on this show makes any sense.
I'm think Chambliss and Goldberg said this final scene is her "subconscious" or something like that. So I'm just interpreting it as she's dead for now, but if the writers want to bring her back they will find a way, and retcon this final scene by saying its actually real.

I just want them to go full force Madison now. Let her be like Thor with a giant hammer. I don't care. It will be better than the last 4 seasons. The whole Amina thing is very very Gimple isnt it. Imagine having a show with a serial killer, running a doomsday cult, in an apocalypse, a submarine with a mystery (the nukes), and yet managing to make it be absolutely unscaly or chilling or exciting.
What they should have done is… somehow incorporated the CRM subtly in the whole season and almost give her a Rick Grimes like moment of death , then she is suddenly taken by CRM via helicopter in the same fashion Rick is shown too. This leaves ambiguity and possibly could tie her in to Rick movies(if they ever happen)

This show’s shit dialogue and writing is so cringe. Worse than the worst cringy episodes of the U.S. version of The Office. When are they going to shut this production down. Your reviews are literally the only reason I am still watching
It's disappointing that the characters had potential. They may have been directed in the right direction, but writers are unwilling or unable to do so. Alicia, Daniel, Victor. Just remember what storylines these characters had before, when they were interesting to watch and worried about. Remember Alicia and the Proctors? I loved Alicia's scenes with Proctor John. But the writers decided not to return them and gave her hallucinations for half the season and talk about it. Terrible...
