This was a dear sweet looking elderly man who was kind and loving to his family and neighbors. The kind of neighbor you'd want next door. So sad his life was taken this horrible way.

I'd be willing to bet that it had something to do with the noise that the leaf blower was making. There is a family close to where I live, though I do not know who it is, who runs a leaf blower at least once a week during the fall time of the year. The noise that these things make is not like a power lawn mower, _that_ I could take, it is far worse and utterly infuriating especially if you have to listen to it every weekend. I do not know how this works, and I am just guessing, but I think it is probably a lot harder, if not impossible, to blow the leaves when they are ALL down so the family in my community blows them each week to pick up the leaves a little at a time. I'm sure my other neighbors don't like it any more than I do but it isn't the sort of thing I would make an issue of. You just have to tough it out till the season is over. The last time these idiots ran their leaf blower was at 11 AM on a Sunday morning. [EDIT] Since this took place on a weekday if I were the cops I'd try to find out who works at night and needs the daytime hours to sleep, or someone who has infant children who are awakened by the noise, or animals who go nuts the way they do with fireworks. I really do not think that this was a random shooting.
