This game was such a passion project. One of the great success stories of gaming in the 2010s imo. If theres never another Cuphead game, at least us fans can know that the creators gave this game their absolute all.

One of the best “boss battle” pieces in a loooong time! It’s in my top favs among soundtracks from FF, Destiny and Legend of Zelda! Also, as a trombone player, it makes me so happy to hear them so wonderfully in this!

It is impressive the coordination of everyone when recording and playing the instruments, many people underestimate the music of video games when in truth it is a thousand times better than much of what we have now, although it is a shame that if you finish the fight quickly you can not hear it complete.

It's always a treat to see the singing saw being used in something! It was also used in the soundtrack of the film Parasite. It's got such a theremin-like quality to it, but with more of an edge (ba dum tss)
Easily one of my favorites. The way it's made and how it sounds just feels more... *sinister.* Before you even know Saltbaker will betray you, you can hear just a little bit of unease in his music, but overall it's still jolly enough to let it go. THIS however, takes that tiny bit of unease and lets it ALL go. I also love the dynamic throughout the song. As it goes on it get jazzier and jazzier which represents our main trio pulling through the fight against Saltbaker, while the choir and the orchestra represents how big of a threat Saltbaker currently is. If you read through this rant, I appreciate it very much. :) 10/10 song. A perfect song for a perfect ending.
