I would be too worried it could get wedged down there and mess my machine up. I just scrub it with hot water and a brush- no soap needed. 😜
Universal tips: 1 buy interactive wands and have them shipped to the house. We did it as an easter basket item and went for spring break several years ago. 2 get the meal plan, make reservations it makes a big difference, oh and get the donut as the snack at least once, the entire family will be able to make a meal from one if you share it. 3 get the pass for hogwarts express, moving parks is a great backup for a crowded park.
Agree with the wedding comment. My hubby & I did mostly everything ourselves: decorations, invitations, etc. We spent a little over a thousand (back in 2004) with a lot of help from family, friends & Oriental Trading Company. Wedding & reception was amazing!!
Definitely toss the detergent cape in the washer unless it's something delicate.

Sorry, I wasn’t finished about the cost of weddings. My daughter got married in 2013. I think the total cost for the wedding was around $40,000! Long story short, the marriage was over by 2016, and they had been together 7 years at that point so it wasn’t something they rushed into. Pretty sure they both regret how much money went into that over the top wedding. Even for marriages that last a lifetime, it’s about the marriage, not one day!!! I realize it’s probably not a popular opinion but I just had to weigh in!!!💍👰♀️💒
Oh my gosh that’s a lot of money!! We spent $5,000 on ours in 2006 and we couldn’t even afford that at the time lol

Hannah Kaye you’re so right! What a terrible waste of money, I sometimes wonder if they weren’t more interested in the big elaborate wedding instead of if the marriage was right for them. Oh well, it’s over and done now but I’m sure she would never do it again! Live and learn, I guess🤷♀️
I agree. I was told the same thing by a older lad when I got married in 08. It's so easy to get caught up in the hype of getting married.
Ashley you’re so right about that! Between the bachelor/bachelorette parties that are so elaborate, the rehearsal dinner, the venue and the reception it’s almost like a contest among friends/siblings who can out doing the last wedding. In this case, the groom’s mother also insisted on inviting people that should never have been invited. As in everything in life, moderation should be the leading factor!
I agree! My husband and I have a theory, the more expensive the wedding, the shorter the marriage. So far, it seems to be a pretty solid theory. We got married in our back yard. I cooked the food and my crazy cousins made a huge bon fire and I melted the bottom of my boots because I sat too close to the fire...I "may" have had a couple of toasts before that! Hahah. We have been married over 20 years and going strong. We want to plan a 25 yr vow renewal, still in our backyard...with a jug band! The coffee bar looks great! Enjoy!
I love your coffee bar! I have a Nespresso coffee maker and have never made an iced latte, but I’ll be making one tomorrow morning. Thank you for showing how you make yours. I love the dishes you put in your cabinet. They must give you sweet memories. Thank you for showing Murphy, I miss seeing his sweet face!
Universal has some great coasters! I heard the Mummy was closed for repairs, but we loved the Hulk and all the Harry Potter rides as well as the Jurassic park stuff. When we've gone, we head straight for Harry Potter and get those rides first, then work our way back towards the entrance. Universal also has a lot of VR rides like The Simpsons, Spider Man and Transformers (my fave). If you spend the extra $, I think they have like a "lightning pass" to move you through the lines faster. Each park has plenty for all ages but the only way to ride the Hogwarts Express is to have the park "hopper" pass (at least it was like that the last time we went). We've done it both ways - 2 parks in one day and 1 park per day - I think it just depends on what you're most wanting to do. Wear comfortable shoes and have so much fun!!!
I have a tiny kitchen so I just got a serving tray and some containers that fit in it and put coffee and tea bags along with a little filter holder and the sugar dish on the counter next to the coffee maker and my family loves it!!

I went to Universal years ago as well as Disney World. I remember that a suggested strategy was to head to the back of the park when you first enter to enjoy those rides first. The thinking was that people will naturally gravitate to the rides/activities closest to the entrance as they first enter the park so you would be going against the flow. I’m not sure if this is still a good tip or not, but it’s something to consider. I love the coffee stand and the dishes from your relatives are beautiful. You may want to check the value on them as you may be pleasantly surprised with their value. I have old dishes too, and don’t want to sell them but your pattern is from England and probably not made any longer. It can be fun to know the value of them. Enjoy the coffee!

I recommend getting tested for ADHD. I'm 39 and was just diagnosed 2 years ago. It really explains a lot about my struggles that date back to grade school. With treatment, I have noticed a big difference. I do believe I need to titrate my med up a little more, but it has made such a difference, especially at work. Thankfully, I do not have combo ADHD, so I don't suffer from the hyperactivity part, but I do deal with impulsiveness.
You might look into the peel and stick wallpaper. Can be removed without any damage to the wall or paint!

Just got back from Universal! If you can stay in one of the premium hotels (Royal Pacific is the cheapest of the three), it’s 100% worth it for the free express passes and the ability to walk to and from the park rather than the shuttle. If not, the other hotels are still fun. We splurged for express passes on one day and then did single rider lines for some things on the other days so we didn’t spend so much time on line. Hagrid’s motorbike (roller coaster) is so fun but the line is long so use the app to find shorter wait times. First thing in the morning actually wasn’t the shortest wait time. We had better luck in the evenings or mid afternoon. Same thing with the velocicoaster. I loved it and the hulk is one of my all time favorites!
Last thing, if you want some real meals then you should head to CityWalk which is attached to the parks. This is a busy time of year so make reservations online in advance if you can. :) it’s one of my favorite places so happy to answer questions if you have any! Have so much fun!!!!

Universal is awesome, we went 2 years back during spring break, I will say get ready for the crowds because it will be busy, also definitely ride the Mummy ride, and the Kong Ride, hands down they are the best rides,

Loveee it so much I bought myself a coffee bar cart thing for Black Friday n then I didn’t go anything after I put it together but this was very inspirational 💖💖💖. Instead of wine you can put the coffee syrups on that part or leave it empty. And loved the st Patrick’s day stuffff all of it. The little leprechaun was very cute ☘️☘️☘️

I bought a drawer from Amazon for my nespresso pods. We love it. It organizes the pods by color. For ages we had a big jar but it wasn’t organized and Steve was always complaining about it.
I would put the boxes from the nespresso in the wine bar part since you don’t use wine. I love your coffee bar. It’s adorable.
