Great question:
The definitions of God and Mind are very similar as both are defined as consciousness, and are omnipresent and exist within man. However I couldn’t possibly attempt to define God in a TH-cam comment.
Do different cultures and science use different words to describe the same things? Yes all the time.
The tale of religions is God/consciousness exists within us and creates reality.
The findings of modern science is consciousness exists within us and creates reality.

I think - and take this with a grain of salt because that’s how I try to rationalize this with my human mind; our souls or higher self or whatever you wanna call it - is a small portion of god in a human form, and when our terrestrial journey ends that small portion return back to god (the universe, the light etc) to become part of it again. Remember; you are love, you come from love and you will return to love (love being god or the universe). That’s why we are divine beings and creators too! Creators of our thoughts through manifestation. We all have that small portion of the universe within us and we return back to the higher power to become part of it again once our physical body is no longer.
High self = Soul = mini universe!

@@freddy7534 Yes it does, and I completely agree because mind is not brain it’s defined as consciousness, imagination and perception. Mind has never been seen or located (scientifically).
Mind are soul are one in the same again given different terms to explain the same entity :)

Well Neville Goddard believed that the subconscious mind IS god and that that's how we create with our thoughts so I guess it's a way of looking at it too.
