Eritrea - Mekseb Debesay - Abu Dhabi Tour 2016

After a long absent from riding with his World Tour Team Dimension Data, former Tour Of Eritrea Champion Mekseb Debesay returned with a bang, in this years Abu Dhabi Tour.
After doing a ton of working for his Team Mate Mark Cavendish, on Stage 1 and Stage 2(in which Mark finished 3rd on Stage 1 and 1st on Stage 2) Mekseb Debesay was let lose on Stage 3, where he surprised many cycling pundits with his remarkable 3rd place finish on the tough Queen stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour.
Two times Giro D Italia Champion Vincenzo Nibali and two times Tour De France Champion Alberto Contador, simply couldn't keep up with the young neo-pro Eritrean, Mekseb Debesay.
Contador & Nibali finished 6th and 7th respectively, 17 seconds behind Debesay.
