Fred, I am doing a project for my science class. I am just curious on what program you used to model and animate the video.
I am completely fluent in Lightwave, and I've seen some really good RO animations. I'm just comparing based on program used. Thank you Very much

Sea-Water to Fresh Water is a technology that must be incorporated in countries or regions where they are without clean fresh water.

i dont like how the pipes are low poly so you can see the straight edges on what should be a round surface
and the distortion on the flow arrows going over the pipes is a bit cheap looking

Turning salt-water to fresh-water is a break through. The world will no longer be in thirst. Lets Celebrate.

Yeah, they are all great and stuff until you have to change out the membranes. PAIN. IN. THE. BUTT. That and the high and low pH cleanings we do on them are unnecessarily obnoxious. We also use several ultra filtration trains prior to the RO's. Neat set up but they can be a bother sometimes. Doesn't help that we run them at max.

We change them once every few years. 4-5 on average. We have a schedule to run the CIP once a week. Different train every week but it was getting so bad that we were doing it more often which seemed to help little. Hard to determine what the cause was. we have a UF system upstream and we used antiscalant and a microbiological upstream as well. we are prone to heavy swings in flow though. This is just part of our system to treat boiler feed water and as demand swings on the boilers the instrumentation cascades to swing the RO units. Doesnt help that we have to time our cleanings, often shortening them, because of water demand. We run out of water the whole refinery goes down. You're right though. The cleaning are long. Lol.

i bet that water tastes AMAZING. no sodium fluoride (poison), no BPA from bottles (toxic), no chlorine... i would like a 6 stage RO machine... and soon enough i will have one. no more toxic sustenance. it's so sick and disgusting how America has been bombarded with these chemicals in their water (at least sodium fluoride) for 65+ years, by design. we need to take our drinking water back. for the health of all.
