Glorious.............................sooooooo good........................love the second half......such great tones and ideas..........................
Beautiful as always. Could you possibly tell us a bit about what you do in post? How different does the final product end up sounding vs. what came off the DN?
Thanks a lot !! With increasing experience, the difference between what comes out of the Digitone and the final piece is less and less (except for the loudness) ... in the past I often had to repair more than improve. There are usually a few plugins and hardware devices involved, but as it should be in mastering, only tiny changes at each step and only as much as necessary. My small hardware chain (500 rack) consists of SPL BIG (stereo image shaping) Elysia XFilter (EQ) & xpressor (compressor) ... almost always in use. I have too many plugins to name them all here. Lots of mastering stuff from UAD ... Softube Weiss (limiter) ... Vertigo VSE-2&4 to name a few. Of course, what comes out of the Digitone is much more dynamic because the dynamic range gets limited during mastering ... a bit "wider" ... a few adjustments with EQs.
@@substan_music Thanks, that's really helpful (even though, at my current level, much of it is a foreign language to me!) I'm due to get into mixing - it's something I'm putting off as I want to live in an ideal world where all I need to do is record on the DT/DN and not have to learn an entire science of post-production. But it is what it is!
If warm ice was a thing, this is what it would sound like. Beautiful
LOL🤣🍄
Incredible work again. Waiting for DigiTales 2 😅
This sincerely is the instrument that was destined to be in your hands.
You had the best demos of the OG Digitone, so I guess it's no surprise this is the best demo of the Mk. II I've heard so far.
Finally we can hear DN2 in fine action. Thank you, Substan!
The lord of sound design! This is so great.
Thanks a lot mate !!!
Hey magic hands, gorgeous piece. Flight of wonder. Openness, oneness, inspiration.
Thanks a lot mate 🙏
It's like a dream about a new hope.
wunderschön.
Love this. Sounds superb.

Digitone II is an amazing machine, and this is an amazing demo of it... great!
This is excellent
Great demonstration of how these machines can sing brilliantly in your hands.
Yes, and that you only need one of them! Although I would love the complete set, of course...🙏
Sooo schön! 🤩🙌
Sounds great 👍
It is like if a beautiful dream was drenched in sound.
Beautyful! It sounds so clean

mesmerizing both a + v
🙏
Any tips/advice on getting the string/pad swells at around 1:20?
I made it with the Swarmer machine and modulated the main waveform with a very fast random LFO.
Lovely
Wonderschön! 🥰
Amazing work… I’d like to hear your take on synthwave …
Einfach toll :)
This is great. Can I ask whether the popping at the start is intentional? Kinda sounded like the OG DN sounded when stealing voices.
Apologies - listened to the whole thing and it’s definitely not voice stealing. Sorry, this is brilliant.
Thanks a lot !! Yes .. I build this vinyl/fire crackling sound intentional
no apologies needed ✌️
🌍💫🎼💗🙌👍
Digimaster
It's breathing
Beautiful. It's the same Digitone, and it's not :)
Thanks mate !! ... exactly 😀
Kann das Digitales 2 nicht abwarten :D

@@substan_music lass dir ruhig viel zeit.. soll schliesslich kein schnellschuss werden :)
